Over al Bradbury House Nursing Home provides a safe, comfortable environment for my father. The medical staff are excellent in both keeping on top of his various medical conditions and treatments and in supporting the families member about his health conditions. The care staff all seem to be very
friendly and kind and compassionate in taking care of him each day. I would therefore recommend Bradbury House Nursing Home.

My Mother-in-Law arrived at Bradbury House after a short spell in hospital. Unfortunately she was unable to return home and we had to look for a nursing home. After visiting many homes in and around the area we were lucky to visit Bradbury House and there were vacancies. The team at Bradbury House
are professional and caring and go over and above board to ensure residents are well cared for. My Mother-in-Laws birthday was celebrated at Bradbury House with singing and birthday cake which made her day. All food is cooked on site and not bought in. I could go on but a short review is always best as its read. I recommend Bradbury House.

My mum was a resident of Conewood Manor for 5 years. All members of staff were amazing! The care and love my mum received from every member of staff was fantastic. They made sure she was always comfortable and always ensured she was encouraged to take part in their many activities. The facilities
they have are also great. I never had any concerns with any member of staff, over the years they became more like family. The home is very well run and always very clean. My thanks go out to each and every member of staff, thank you for making my mums last few years as comfortable and happy as possible. Thank you.

I have been a resident here for just over a year now and I would recommend Lavender's Care Home wholeheartedly to anyone who needs to move into one.
The staff will do anything you ask for and quickly become your friends. We have a high class chef and the food is excellent. There is a lot lovely feeling
of freedom and I can wander round the garden alone deadheadding the roses if I want to. We have a lovely Gardener's Club when we are given a waist high plot to grow flowers or vegetables which the kitchen will cook specially
We have a brilliant activities lady who conducts all sorts of entertainments including exercise sessions, poetry reading, classical music, and singing and dancing sessions.
I would say that this is a very happy place to be if you have to be in a Care Home.

My husband has been a resident of Hartley House for over two years. I've seen a lot through that time as I visit him nearly every day. From the lovely manager down, the staff show compassion, empathy, kindness & warmth when caring for our loved ones. This applies to all the staff whatever their role.
It has a homely feel & fun & laughter can often be heard. The staff are also very caring to me & now feel like extended family. It's a very special place & I'm thankful that if my dear husband has to be somewhere that it's there!

Roselands Care Home

from Alastair R (Son of Resident) published on 2 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Roselands has fabulous staff who treat residents with kindness and dignity. Although the number of residents each staff must care for is a bit higher than I would like, the care offered is of a good standard. The activities offered for residents who choose to participate are excellent. The rooms are
of good size. The only area that really needs improvement is the food. Although there is plenty of it with 3 meals plus snacks and tea breaks, it seems carb heavy and could benefit from fresh vegetables. That said, the birthday cakes are spectacular.
Sadly, the cost is rising at an alarming rate, ( more than 10% a year for the last 3 years). Nevertheless, I am trying to keep my mother here because I feel that the staff genuinely care - a vocation as well as a profession. For that reason alone, I would recommend Roselands.

Bluebell Nursing Home

from Jackie E (Daughter of Resident) published on 2 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My Dad had been a resident of the Bluebell Nursing Home for 4 months. During this time he has received the best treatment anyone could hope for at the Home.
The staff always greeted him with a smile and direct eye contact and made conversation with him rather than just get on the with the job in
hand so to speak. They treated him with dignity and humanity.
Sadly, my Dad passed away on 9th March. We, his family, are so grateful for the wonderful support following his death. They have been so kind, especially to my Mum and have said that she is welcome to visit whenever, its not a case of 'goodbye' for her if she would like to remain in contact with the Bluebell.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in my Dad's care. We are comforted to know that he had the best 'ending' one could possibly have - dignity, love, care, joy, peace and kindness. We are so very pleased that we chose the Bluebell Nursing Home for him to spend his last days. Thank you everyone!

My father in law is very happy there. He likes the food , the staff who are very caring and friendly. There are things that the residents can do and entertainers come into the home every week. When he has any medical problems these have been dealt with efficiently and as they occur.
I would definitely
recommend the home.
