Overall Experience

Staff helpful and friendly, nothing to much trouble,
not an easy job on the Dementia level but things seem to run as smooth as possible,
We are so glad we chose Belle Vue for my husband as we feel he gets the right care.
The reception staff do a great job and I appreciate their patience.

in all we have no worries.

Overall Experience

Just so impressed by Belle Vue care home - the staff are all excellent and keep mum active and entertained. I live some distance away, but have total peace of mind that mum is in good hands. It's definitely the people that make a place and I can't praise Belle Vue enough.

I can't say enough in praise of Belle Vue Care Home. You often hear bad things on the news regarding care homes & not enough about really good ones. My mum has been a resident for over a year & every staff member, from the front door reception, to the carers, manager & cleaning staff are friendly &

my mum even calls them friends. The care is exceptional & mum is so much more relaxed now she has no worries. It's always a pleasure to visit mum & I'm made to feel welcome & no longer worry about her as I know she is in good kind hands & I will be informed of anything staff are concernd with re: mum's health. Thank you to all staff at Belle Vue for really caring about your residents.

Overall Experience

Mum has been really well looked after at Devonshire House and Lodge and the staff have shown her great kindness, compassion and dignity. This care has been extended to family too and communications are very good. The facilities are excellent here with a really good choice of activities and the surrounding

gardens are just delightful.

Overall Experience

Devonshire House is an excellent care home providing home from home comforts. The staff have always been kind and caring and treated mum with dignity and respect. There are many activities on offer should mum chose to join in. The home is clean and tidy at all times, and as visitors we have always been

made welcome and invited to various events throughout the year. The whole team of staff have created a lovely professional care home that I would highly recommend.

Overall Experience

The care my father receives is second to none. We are very happy with his care, from the activities to medical attention when required and is always prompt. I am informed of any issues. There has been an issue recently in the dining room, which I haven't witnessed personally, but I know dad is concerned

that the service there has dropped recently.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the care our mother receives from Devonshire House. The facilities are excellent, as is the lifestyle program. The food can be a bit variable but steps are being taken to try and improve this. All the staff are friendly and approachable.

Overall Experience

Every time we come here the home is clean, and well kept. The staff always greet us with a smile. My mum is always happy. The entertainment team always keep the residents occupied and not just sat around in chairs which is good to see.

Overall Experience

The home is a wonderful home for my mother. The staff are very caring and professional. The home its self is well set up and provides for all the clients. The Lifestyle Team provide a great experience for everyone, making sure everyone is engaged in all of the activities.

I could not have been happier with the care my mum was given. The staff were exceptional and I cannot speak too highly of the place. The best thing about it was the fact you were welcome to visit your mum any time you wanted - you didn't have to pre-book as in other homes. We were told they had nothing

to hide by the manager, that was very much the case as we never found anything untoward, the family was still the same. I would highly recommend this place.

Overall Experience

My father was a resident here for nearly 5 years on the dementia floor. The staff here are exemplary. They cared for and 'loved' my Dad all through his time here in particular the nursing staff and his carer who also cared for him. Sadly he passed away on 30th October but right through to the end he

was comfortable and well cared for. Again the staff were thoughtful and understanding to me and my family during the final days. The home is clean and the residents are happy and well fed. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, he was happy here.

Overall Experience

My mother went into Elburton Heights in May 2023 after a fall in her previous care home left her unable to walk. After a bumpy start, she settled in really well. I can't praise the care she received enough, they were absolutely amazing with her. She wasn't the easiest to deal with, but with patience

and care from the excellent staff, she was comfortable and content. When she died in November, everyone was so kind and respectful to us. I would recommend Elburton Heights to anyone who needed care.

My brother has been a resident at Belle Vue Care Home for over twelve months. His care has been beyond criticism, competent and friendly staff who have been most kind and obligingly to all members of our family. The facilities and accommodation are first-rate, always very clean and tidy.

on two previous nursing homes.

Overall Experience

I volunteer weekly every Wednesday with coffee mornings and activities. The staff interact so well with the people who live here with songs and dancing. The home is always clean and tidy. The manager is very welcoming and is very visible and approachable. She is very supportive of the lifestyle team

and I was very happy to read that they achieved a good rating in a recent CQC review.
