Overall Experience

Mum has only been here a short time but has settled well. All staff are attentive, supportive and strive to help as much as possible. Also have a very positive & caring attitude to residents and visitors alike.

Overall Experience

I am generally quite happy with the care my mother has recieved. Staff have been quick to pick up on issues that need addressing and to deal with any of my concerns. The place is always clean and tidy and bright and airy. Staff & management are friendly & helpfull. Coming into care is a big adjustment

for my mother to make and staff are aware of that and respond accordingly.

Overall Experience

The staff in this care home really go that extra mile . During my mother's recent 90th birthday they did all they could to make our family welcome in helping mum celebrate in style with live music, flowers, balloons , banners and a lovely birthday cake. My mother has been here for two years and despite

her dementia , she is thriving.
Any questions or suggestions are dealt with promptly and we are always kept up to date with any health issues. This is a Care home that really cares !

Overall Experience

The care my great-aunt has received since the beginning of the year has, on the whole, been excellent. The facility is clean & well staffed. The care staff are by far Peel Moat's greatest asset. Dedicated, caring, respectful and empathetic, not only to the residents but also to their families. They're

always happy to engage with family members and have a quick chat before continuing their good work. The administration and management team are excellent too, open to feedback or family concerns, however small, offering reassurance and always ensuring that any issues raised are addressed quickly. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We've also received regular updates too regarding our great-aunt's progress and any issues that may be affecting her physical health or wellbeing. I cannot recommend Peel Moat Care Home highly enough for the standard of care they provide. They provide excellent service as well as peace of mind to families.

Overall Experience

Over the Christmas period my dad's dementia became too much for my mum to manage and we took the very difficult decision to seek care for him. Woodlands has made all of this so much more straightforward than we imagined. The staff have been amazing with him and all of the difficult red tape was handled

for us by the office team. All of his needs are catered for and he is so well looked after.

Overall Experience

Overall, this is a good care home.
My mum has been resident here for 7.5 years and is happy here.
I am mostly happy with her care...the manager is very approachable and always available to speak to, if needed. The majority of the care staff are polite, friendly and kind. I always feel welcome when

I visit.
Some go the extra mile.
The activities team are amazing - they carry out lots of great activities and allow all residents to get involved where they can. This has been particularly good for my mum.
It is lovely that they have an accessible jacuzzi bath and a visiting hairdresser.
As with all care homes, there are some issues, but these are minor and usually addressed promptly.
I have had some issues with my mum's clothes...items going missing, items not hung up in her wardrobe, some incorrect items and sometimes not her clothes have been put on her and photographed and put on Facebook.

First christmas at Bright Meadows, I was very anxious at this thought. We saw family in the morning, and the rest of the day was great, great christmas dinner with other residents and their families, music, singing and dancing. The staff made a masive difference to our christmas day. Thank you winter

The staff have made the whole transition into a care home situation so much more bearable. The time they give the family to listen and support is invaluable. Overall Experience

I am very happy with the care my wife receives from the care staff. All the staff spend as much time as they can to chat and attend to her needs, nothing seems to be much trouble. We both had Christmas dinner at the home and it was lovely. The meal was first class, credit to the chef! Even though it

was Christmas, the staff worked really hard and were cheerful. We really enjoyed it. Thanks very much.

Overall Experience

I have visited Woodlands a few times since my dear friend became a resident in September. Each time I visit I'm greeted by a friendly receptionist and welcomed by staff. Woodlands is spotlessly clean (smells fresh, not like other homes) and I know my friend is looked after by the very caring staff.

Lots of care is shown by beautiful displays in the halls and foyer and activities seen to be enjoyed by residents. Well done!

Overall Experience

The overall experience has always been excellent, from walking through the front door at reception to when I come back out again. All the staff, reception, cleaners, carers, are really good, very helpful and are willing to do anything for residents and visitors. I have never seen anything other than

caring staff and the place is always spotless. The staff should be very proud as this type of job is not easy and my mind is at rest knowing my friend is receiving such good care.

Overall Experience

My mum has only been in Woodlands for two weeks so far due to her not being safe at home anymore. And wow what an amazing place. When you walk in, it smells lovely and you're welcomed with a big smile from the lady on the desk. All the staff seem happy and will chat with you about any concerns. They

have activities on most days, which my mum enjoys. The rooms are spacious with en-suites and we can take items from home, we took a lot of family pictures and they were soon put up on her walls. It's so good to see our mum happy again, we can also take her dog in to visit and he gets spoilt also. My mum is still settling at the moment but as a family, we are very happy with Woodlands and know we made a great choice.

Overall Experience

The staff were welcoming and everywhere clean and fresh smelling. Residents were having their individual needs met and I heard a staff offer to fetch an item from a resident's room and said "it's no trouble." Staff came to explain about our resident's medical condition. They always make time to listen

if you need to share information. Glad we chose Peel Moat it put our minds at rest knowing that our loved one is happy and contented and we did the best we could for them.

Overall Experience

My aunt's health has deteriorated and staff have been excellent in their support and considerate to all wishes including her family. The support and care have been very good in over 2 years my aunt has resided here. The staff are approachable and take on board our feelings. There are always activities

going on, and celebrations galore. The environment is bright and welcoming. I've been able to visit at any time and personalise her room. No complaints.

Overall Experience

My husband was admitted to Bright Meadows Care Home in the middle of August 2024. I was very surprised when entering the building to my husband's bedroom, no nasty smells, everywhere is clean and bright. The whole care team greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and polite conversation. My worries and

concerns have all gone. He is receiving excellent care and wants to stay forever.

Overall Experience

I have been visiting my mum for one week. She is happy here which is down to the environment and the staff. Everything appears very clean and tidy. The lounge and Mum's room are bright and airy, and the en-suite is a real bonus. Overall my first impressions are very good. Never been during meal times

so I can't comment on the food, but Mum said it's very good.

Overall Experience

Not the best, each time I visit it's not clean, not enough carers. Most carers are lovely and caring, some aren't. The sensory room is a great idea. The residents need more attention i.e so many carers to so many residents. I feel most of the time the carers are all together in one place, instead of

being spread. This would help with things like accidents.
