Lyle House, in Roehampton close to Richmond Park, is a modern care home for up to seventy residents. The home offers residential and dementia care within a homely setting, as well as short-term respite care. Staffed by a team of well-trained and dedicated care professionals, Lyle House offers high standards of personalised care.

Residents enjoy a range of daily activities tailored to their individual preferences from games and entertainment to crafts and quizzes. The home has a secure outside garden area and pleasant lounges, all bedrooms are en-suite and rooms are spacious.

Our Mum moved to Lyle House in the Spring of 2019, and we are so pleased with how well she is looked after and in particular the kindness of all the staff.
The layout of each floor is perfect for our Mum, as she will always see the carers pass her room and they pop in for a friendly chat if they have
time or Mum goes to sit in the dining room with others, this is particularly important for Mum as she often gets lonely, confused and forgets where she is.
Our Mum always comments on how kind the staff are, and also how hard working they are. The staff have created a homely environment, and the new refurbishment is a wonderful addition and carried out to a very high standard.
There is always a friendly welcome from the manager and reception team, and they will always take time to talk to you if you have any concerns or requests. We are very pleased we found Lyle House, and that Mum is happy and well looked after.

Beautiful facilities and hardworking staff. My mother's health needs are well met. Meals are lovely and the manager is kind and caring. There are great new facilities for activities in the setting but these are not yet well used by residents.

My dad has been a resident at Lyle House since last summer. We had struggled at home prior to him coming there but it is amazing to see how settled he is now. The care is excellent and everyone is so understanding and caring. The activities team encourage him to take part in group activities but also
spend time one to one when he is unsettled. The new additions of the pub and cafe are so good for a resident with Dementia. Going to the pub to have a beer and watch some sport on telly, just makes dad feel like he has been out and he is so happy. I couldn’t wish for a better home for him.

Firstly, what a beautiful care home this place is beyond anything I've seen.
All workers, from the lovely reception staff to the hard-working and caring carers make this emotional and hard transition very easy and also make it a home from home. I enjoy coming to see my Uncle and he enjoys himself there.

Myself, my husband and our family are extremely happy with the care and kindness given to Pops. Since the refurbishment and additions at Lyle House, the environment is even more homely than before. We are very satisfied with the standard of care and find phone calls regarding any issues Pops is experiencing
very helpful. All carers and staff members are warm and welcoming. Very happy and confident that Pops is receiving good care, which is very reassuring.

Unfortunately, I had to have an operation and I was not able to look after my partner. So it was decided that she had a stay at Lyle House.
I'll start off by saying the level of care and the attention to detail is nothing short of perfection. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a warm friendly
receptionist or another member of staff. The decor of the building is absolutely spot on (me being a director of my own building company I notice things) when going into the common room there are plenty of comfortable chairs for everyone and all the guests look very content.
The selection of food is varied and exceptionally good.
But the main thing is knowing that the love of my life is being well looked after which takes a lot of stress and worry off my mind.
I would highly recommend this facility.

Lyle House is clean and safe and the staff are always kind and caring.
The entertainments have improved which was my biggest previous concern and it makes a huge difference to the residents who otherwise were often seated and/or asleep. My mother always eats her food which is a good sign and never
complains about it.
Generally, I have very few complaints.

Very happy until my mother had an experience with going to bed at night. The management and carers kept me informed and between us, we have tried to resolve the situation and are still trying to deal with this matter at present. Her carers are doing the best allowing for this difficult time.

My mother (96) has been resident in Lyle House since November 2017, she has now settled in which took a little time but she is there now and is being cared for by the staff which have been looking after her needs. In the past, she was living in her one-bedroom council flat at the hands of her carers
who sometimes did or did not turn up, giving or not giving her food and medication. Now at Lyle House, this is always being done with the love and care by the majority of the carers, whenever I have visited my mother, her room is immaculate and clean.
My mother in the first months needed doctors and nurses which were always there for her, I feel she is in the right place for her care and attention.
I must say, asking to have her looked after by a care home, was hard at first, but the right thing to do for my mum.

Upon secured entry, you are met with a friendly receptionist and/or homes manager who is always available to answer any questions. The carers are always polite and keep you informed how your relative is doing. There always seem to be cleaners working and all areas are clean and tidy. As a frequent visitor,

Lyle House is kind and caring. Staff took the time to get to know my mother, and connected well with her.


She was happy, comfortable and safe. During her last month, December, utmost support and kindness was offered to her and to myself and my sister. I am glad we were able to place Mom at Lyle House.

I am very happy with the care she has been receiving.
The staff are very friendly, obliging and kind.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and everyone is very helpful.
The care home is always very clean and well presented.

visits to mum are always fun as the staff keep everybody's spirits lifted.
I would definitely recommend Lyle House to anybody needing care for an elderly family member or friend.

The staff at Lyle House are always welcoming and the care they give to my mother is very good. I am kept informed of important issues related to her health and her key worker always takes the time to check that I am aware of everything related to her care.
The food is good and my mother says that she
enjoys the choices on offer.
The standard of cleanliness is very high and my mother always looks clean and well presented - something she would not do if she was at home.

The Home is bright, clean and welcoming. All the staff that we have come in contact with are friendly. They are also caring and attentive towards the residents which is our top priority. The activities do seem to have improved and the staff, some of which we have not met before so presume are fairly
new, only added to the happy atmosphere.
