The Wellesley Road Care Home is clean, warm and welcoming, it really has a homely feel to it. The staff are always kind, considerate and professional, the way they make people live in a positive way is immeasurable. The cleanliness of the home is excellent and the nurses are always present to help the
residents. I highly recommend Wellesley Road Care Home.

I deeply regret the time my mother was at this care home. I would not recommend if your relative is physically compromised and suffering dementia, as they are not specialists.

I moved my sister into the care home on December 28th. I was full of trepidation, stress and fear!
We had prepared her room with familiar items from her flat and she was beaming when she saw the room with the photos and her artwork and other familiar things.
She settled in really well, helped by an
extremely empathetic staff and management. I couldn't have asked for more.
Her first two days she ate all her food, participated in activities and was interacting with other residents.
I am now back home in Spain but with such a feeling of well-being, knowing that my sister is being cared for by an empathetic and professional staff.
I can't name the staff here but you know who you are. Many, many thanks and I wish you all and residents a Very Happy New Year.

My uncle was at this care home for about 3 years. He had Alzheimer's and dementia. The care he was given was excellent. He was always happy and treated with respect until his last days. I never worried about him there because I knew he was being well taken care of. Thank you so much to the staff.

My husband's cousin was moved to Wellesley Road Care Home when they first opened in late summer 2015. She was already suffering from advanced dementia and the transition proved quite traumatic and she sadly died in Feb 2016. I must say, however, despite the inevitable teething troubles, she was treated
with great respect and kindness. The purpose-built home was of an extremely high standard with very pleasant, comfortable, en suite rooms and lovely, light communal areas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for residential or nursing care for a relative the staff did go out of their way to be helpful and provide a good standard of care.
