Overall Experience

The home is very friendly and the carers are also very good, kind and helpful to all the residents. I can't recommend the home enough for the cleanliness, kindness and helpfulness. Everyone has got plenty of patience and time for all.
If I had to go into a home at anytime Bennetts Castle is the one

for me.

Overall Experience

This care home is full of CARE from the moment you walk in with the staff greeting us as friends until you leave and everything in between. We know that Dad is well looked after and given the care and compassion you would hope for as a daughter. We are very happy that issues are dealt with quickly and

resolved and most of all that Dad feels comfortable, warm and safe in their hands as well as we do. Keeping us up to date with dads needs is always so helpful and we wouldn’t want him anywhere else !!! Fantastic staff doing an amazing job !!!!

Overall Experience

I try to come every month to visit mum, as I live in Newcastle upon Tyne. Whilst I’m in London I visit the care home on different days for a week or two due to my osteoarthritis I can’t go every day. Whilst visiting the care staff have been very kind and the care they are giving to mum is good. They

do however express that even though they would like to do more they are usually short-staffed. Also, it would be nice if they can offer a cup of tea to visitors especially during the winter months. The standard of care seems to be good but the domestic standard in rooms could be better especially behind the furniture which I have noticed for some time in mums room. Otherwise, it is a lovely care home where all the staff are always smiling and friendly. I like it.

Overall Experience

I always found the home to be friendly and caring, the manager can always be approached with concerns. The home is kept clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are loyal with little turnover. I am confident that my sister is being well looked after.

Overall Experience

I find the care my dad gets to be very good. The staff are willing to help when asked, my dad is settled and content. Always a warm welcome, the home has a very friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this care home. The rooms and gardens are available to use.

Overall Experience

My Dad lived here for the last 6-months of his life, until he passed away at the beginning of July, the care that he received was 2nd to none. All of the staff were friendly and always had time for him and our family when we visited him. Unfortunately, because of Covid, we could not visit dad for the

last 3-months of his life, but we spoke to him regularly over the phone. The food was great, and the rooms were clean and tidy. I and my family are very happy that we chose this home for Dad. We would 100 % recommend this care home.

Excellent staff in terms of caring attitude and expertise. My Mum is well looked after, night and day. Activity schedule and members of staff who coordinates activities are wonderful. Overall Experience

Dad had been a resident here for the past 3 years until his passing on 19 June 2019. From the moment he arrived until the day he died we have been treated with the utmost respect from everyone from the cleaners up to the directors. It feels like a friendship rather than a business and everyone welcomed

us with open arms every single day we saw Dad.
Dad was taken out for days which he enjoyed and the entertainment team made him welcome by singing all the old songs which he enjoyed.
For birthdays a cake was provided and at Christmas, everyone gets a present.
On Dad's last few days we stayed with him for 5 days and nights and they provided drinks and food which was no trouble.
I would like to say a massive thanks to everyone at Bennetts Castle and can safely say we have made friends for life there.
Massive gold star, keep up the good work.

Overall Experience

I would like to advise that I find the home to be, overall, well run with polite, patient, caring staff. The home is kept clean and meals are generally good. The manager is very accommodating with an open door policy. Any comments or concerns I may have aired have always been taken on board and actin

taken if deemed necessary.
As with anything, there is some room for improvement, but generally, I am very happy with my sisters care.

Overall Experience

After arriving at the home on August 31st 2018 he fitted in immediately, never asking to come home. The team look after not just the residents but their nearest and dearest too. They treat the residents with respect and nothing is too much for them. Even the cleaners and kitchen staff interact with

him.

Overall Experience

My partner did not want to go into a care home. I went to see a few before this one, I told him my views when I saw it for the first time and he agreed to try it. The second day he told me I had definitely picked the right one. He was well looked after and well fed and completely at peace when he died.

Overall Experience

We would like to say thank you very much to Bennetts Castle Care Centre, the Deputy Manager, receptionist, the Nurses and the Care Workers for looking after our dad. They made his stay a joyful and comfortable one. They always attempted to sit him out of bed to allow him to interact with the other residents

at meal times and in the lounge.
The staff were approachable at all times and extremely helpful. They made us feel at ease whenever we visited.

Overall Experience

I cannot express the heartfelt gratitude I feel towards the staff, management, and friends that me and my late dad made at this home, both of us felt that we were part of a family and were made to feel like we belonged. The home is a very clean environment and is cared for as well as the residents.

I cannot find a single fault. The management should be proud! Superb home!

Overall Experience

Since my wife and I have visited our friend over the last five months we have found that the staff are so kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The medical staff are excellent. They give our friend her medication and change her dressings. They also arrange any hospital appointments. All

the staff are happy in their jobs and we have not found a miserable one.

My cousin was in Bennetts Castle Care Centre for just over a week as he was dying. The care, compassion, dignity and kindness he got from all members of staff was first class. Overall Experience

My husband has dementia and my family and I visit 3-4 times a week and we all agree he is looked after very well. He is always washed and dressed in clean clothes, every day sitting in the lounge after having breakfast in the dining room. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Any queries are sorted

out. Also, the activities people take him to music and singing which he loves (old songs).
