Staff at Woodbury Manor are always ready to help and any query or question is dealt with efficiently and quickly. The residents always appear to be well cared for and the residence and grounds are well cared for too. Our resident's room is clean, well ventilated and warm in the winter. There is always
a range of entertainments arranged to keep the residents occupied and active. The food is of excellent quality and quantity.

All the staff at Woodbury Manor are absolute angels.
My Mum went there for end of life care. They are so caring and treated my Mum with dignity, she was so comfortable. Due to their care and professionalism, my Mum had another 4 months of life.
I cannot thank them enough, nothing was ever too
much trouble for them.
They were all kind not only to my Mum but us as a family. Massive thank you to them all.

My Mum recently stayed at two Scimitar Care Homes, Woodbury Manor and Five Oaks for a respite while we were on holiday.


Both care homes offer very comfortable accommodation with en-suite facilities, spacious lounges and dining rooms and beautiful fully accessible gardens. The staff were very kind,

attentive and patient and made lots of effort to engage the residents in daily activities.


My Mum has very complex medical problems but the managers arranged all the necessary referrals to district nurses and also liaised with my Mum's GP to make her stay safe. They also suggested a new way of communicating with my Mum and made picture cards to help my Mum communicate with the staff.


In both care homes I felt a great team spirit and also the kindness and caring nature of the staff who were very reassuring. I felt very comfortable to leave my Mum there and she was in a great spirit on our return from holiday.

My mum recently stayed here for 3 nights as circumstances at home changed. She was initially very nervous but the staff were absolutely lovely and caring. They welcomed my mum with warmth and reassurance. There is a charming atmosphere with a great team spirit. I visited every morning with my dogs
which the other residents seemed to really enjoy.

I love the exercises and movement - to pop music. The instructor is very good. Lots of people join in. I look forward to that. This facility is very clean. Lots of showers. Sometimes the tea could be hotter! Really like the ensuite. Plenty of food on offer. They have even got me painting! Regular entertainment

Mum has been at Woodbury for nearly 4 and a half years and our family has been pleased with the overall general care that she has received during this time. When you hear so much negative criticism of care providers it has been reassuring that Mum has been in good hands. All the staff are friendly
and nothing seems too much trouble when the occasional niggle needs to be sorted out. No real complaints during this time, which says an awful lot about the care!

My Mum has been in Woodbury Manor since September 2016 when her dementia meant she needed 24-hour care. Woodbury Manor is an excellent care home. The staff are wonderful and it is a great comfort to know she is being well looked after.
