Mum was cared for at this excellent care home in the last four years of her life. The standard of support for her and us was outstanding and I would highly recommend anyone who may have to use a facility for those with dementia.

We have been delighted with the care our sister received until she recently passed away. She was happy at Davids House and was given a range of opportunities to take part in activities to support her as she battled with dementia. Thank you to all the staff who helped her every day.

My father passed away at David's House this month after spending over two years at this care home. I can't praise the staff who cared for him enough. They were always kind and respectful and took time and trouble to learn who my father was and what made him happy. My strong feeling is that the staff
came to know my father as well as any family member and they built a beautiful rapport with him. It took me quite some time to find a home that I believed would be the right place for my dad but after a talk with the manager, I knew he would be safe and well-cared for at David's House. Individual staff are so kind and devoted that I would leave the home feeling secure and happy that there was no better place for him.

David's House accepted my mother straight from the hospital at very short notice. They made the whole experience as easy as possible at a time that was difficult for us as a family. Every member of staff I have met at David's House has shown great kindness to my mother and I believe they have tried
their best to make her stay as comfortable as possible. The staff do a great job and I felt my mother was in safe hands - thank you.

The staff at David's House are gentle and loving; the atmosphere is relaxed and homely; the management is professional and thoughtful; communications are clear and friendly.
We never once regretted our decision to choose David's House to care for our almost-92-year-old mother. She lived there for three
years and was always understood and valued as a unique individual.

I didn’t know David’s House existed and wanted my mum to go into a different care home nearer to where I lived. However, there were no spaces available so the local authority suggested David’s House. My mum has been a resident there since August now and I’m so glad she’s there. She’s happy and is very
well looked after. Mum’s even managed to put on 3kg since being a resident, which is great news and very reassuring as she was getting too skinny and frail whilst at home. I now wouldn’t consider any other care home for her as she loves the staff and has a laugh with them and is so well looked after. Even the non-nursing staff are great and such a help.

The staff at David's House have looked after my 92-year-old mother who suffers from vascular dementia for the past five years. The care she received was excellent and I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for this type of care.

My experience of David's House Care Home over the last eighteen months has been strongly affected by Covid-19 and the consequent restrictions placed on care homes. Throughout, the staff have been helpful in setting up Zoom calls with the resident, which has shown us that she has remained in good shape,
contented and her usual friendly self. This was confirmed a few days ago when we were able to visit her in person. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpful in enabling the visit and David's House was, as before Covid, clean, fresh and homely. I remain very thankful that the resident is being cared for in David's House.

All staff are friendly and cheerful, and that gives such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Since refurbishment communal areas and bedrooms are bright and colourful, but homely. Cleanliness is maintained to a high standard. With just 30 residents, the care home is a reasonable size to enable management
and staff to understand needs and care so well. This care is conducted with gentleness, accompanied by a quiet and efficient team spirit that gives confidence and reassurance to relatives and friends.

I am happy to recommend David’s House to anyone who needs care for their family member. The home is exceptionally well run and the staff - including all the support services staff such as catering, laundry and maintenance - are all friendly, compassionate and caring and provide the highest standard
of care. Everyone is treated with respect and as an individual. For our family the Methodist connection is important and we are happy her spiritual needs are met through the chaplaincy. Throughout the challenges of Covid, my brother and myself remained confident that Mum was in the best place possible, being looked after by the best staff possible. Thank you to everyone at David’s House for all you do. It is appreciated.

I was recommended this home for respite care and I haven't been disappointed. We met the care home manager on a Zoom call to assess suitability and we were pleased with the amount of information required from us and given about the home. On arrival, we were shown to the room, which was spotlessly clean
and well furnished. One of the carers came to ask my husband to join them for a music session, which he loved. Without exception, all staff are friendly and helpful and pay attention to the needs of the individual. We have now used the home for two separate periods. On collecting my husband, he was on a high and had clearly benefited from the numerous organised activities. After my husband had a fall, the home was able to take him for a day, to allow me to take my brother on a previously organised trip. The one thing I recommend is labelling all clothing to make it easy to reunite clothes with the owner. In conclusion, I recommend this home, which I will definitely use in the future.

I can relax, confident that mum is well cared for and happy. The staff are dedicated to the resident's welfare, genuinely caring towards everyone in the home.
There is a wide variety of activities available and mum is encouraged and enabled to take part whenever she wants to do so.

I am extremely pleased with everything I encountered during my visits to see Dad at David's House, Harrow, Middlesex. Dad is happy and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to ensure his needs and wants are catered for. He couldn't be in a better place. I was also treated exceptionally well. The
