Overall Experience

My mum is very happy and settled at Fairmount. All of the staff are caring and respectful to the residents. They offer a varied timetable of activities and often book entertainers.
The surroundings are clean and practical as well as being comfortable and attractive.
It is priceless to be able to know

that my mum is being well looked after as well as being treated with kindness and respect.

Overall Experience

We never imagined our mum in care, but having to admit it was necessary, we were so relieved to find a home as attractive and welcoming as Fairmount. Mum is treated with affection and respect and has become very fond of the wonderful team of carers. The daily activities keep her busy and engaged, and

the glorious gardens give her a sense of freedom she would otherwise sorely miss. Since moving to Fairmount both her health and her mood has improved and perhaps most importantly for all of us, she has regained a sense of dignity and belonging.

Overall Experience

Staff are very kind and attentive
Gardens are beautiful and staff encourage residents to sit outside when possible.
Wheelchair access, very impressed.
I have had no contact with management so can't comment
No real experience of food reported to be very nice. I am offering this review on the basis

of my visit to see my aunt who is being well looked after. Also from contact with other relatives who spoke to me and who I like to see on my regular visits
One young woman visiting her nan told me they had been very happy when her nan was looked after at Fairmount and had since arranged for another nan to be looked after there
I spent a lovely afternoon yesterday visiting and enjoying the company, the garden and friendliness of the staff.

Overall Experience

My mother lived in Fairmont Care Home for two years up until her recent death. She was very happy there, and we were very happy with her care and safety. Very friendly and professional staff, always treated residents with dignity.

Overall Experience

My mum entered Fairmount for a few weeks respite after being in hospital following a fall at home. She improved so much over the first few weeks that even with her dementia, she realised she was so much better than before and asked to stay. Regular homecooked meals, her medication given on time,

24 hour care - all this contributed to us getting our Mum back. She has continued to thrive at Fairmount and we are delighted with her progress and continued good health and well being. It is an attractive building with lovely decor, good quality fittings and furnishings, plenty of sitting areas and a lovely garden to enjoy in the warmer weather. Mum enjoys the knitting circle, scrabble group and jigsaw sessions, as well as the singalongs and quizzes. There is always something nice going on at special times of the year: Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, etc as well as celebrating what's going on in the World.

Overall Experience

My partners nan is currently in Fairmount care home. The atmosphere, care provided and staff are amazing. There is so many different activities going on, all residents look well looked after, content and always clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Overall Experience

Fantastic place, friendly staff and both my nan's were really happy here. They provide great activities with firework night, Christmas party and they even had Santa visit last year! The place is homely and caring and all staff try their best to cater to people's needs. They have healthy food options

daily, hairdresser and fingernails painted! My nan has completely settled in and looks at it as home. Would recommend to anyone, I can leave after visiting my nan feeling happy and relaxed, knowing she is being looked after.
