The owner has incredible knowledge and cares hugely for the residents. This care and attention to detail from the owner are followed by the rest of the family and staff. All so kind and helpful. Would be more than happy for Mum to go back there.
Many thanks to them.

We needed a care home, so we did some research and found Green Trees which met all our requirements. Once Mum was tested for Covid (which was negative) she was invited to the home. They were very good and made it easy for us to say goodbye and deal with the paperwork etc. We have no regrets about putting
her into Green Trees.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful and treat the ladies and gents with dignity.
The rooms are comfortable and have a nice day lounge. The food is good and plenty of it.
They have regular entertainment each week. They also have a regular hairdresser who visits and someone to do the nails, both hand and feet.
We are more than happy that we have found the right place for our mum.

This care home is well presented with staff being very professional regarding the residents. The care manager is always willing to speak with you and we have a good relationship with her. My mother's needs are being met and she is very happy staying at Green Trees.

We have been extremely impressed by the level and quality of care given to our mother by the staff at Green Trees throughout her stay and most recently throughout COVID. Would not hesitate to highly commend this nursing care establishment.

Always a friendly welcome, I can see that some of the girls have built up a great rapport with my mum and is well looked after. My mum seems very happy and looks well. All the food is cooked fresh and I know she eats well. A care home is never gonna be 100% in my mind. They are all under a lot of pressure
but Green Trees does really well to hit that.

On the whole, I find the home to be helpful in most aspects. They have coped extremely well in the coronavirus outbreak and I must credit Enfield Council for their diligence in getting appropriate PPE to them. My poor mum is very frail now but they treat her with respect and dignity. I visit most weeks
2/3 times a week before Covid-19. and find her to be happy and contented although she cannot communicate with me.

My mother has been a resident of Green Trees care home for two years come July. I have nothing but praise for the care Mum receives. I find the staff attentive, polite and caring. When I could prior to Covid-19, I would turn up on different days at different times and Mum's care was always good. The
look after the resident's special needs, their hair, their nails, even down to a daily newspaper. I am so pleased Mum is a resident.

A truly caring and friendly atmosphere from both staff and management.
I believe it is only due to their dedication that both residents and staff have survived unscathed during this pandemic.

Mum spent the last five months of her life in Green Trees care home, very reluctant to leave her own home of 65 years. She was a quite difficult resident to begin with but all the staff were patient and caring and over time Mum became more comfortable and, indeed, happy.
This is a small home, with
long-standing staff and a family feel, so much nicer than the larger more institutional homes I visited when trying to find the best place for my mother.

Green Trees Hadley is a very caring, friendly place to be. I visited several times with a very kind welcome indeed. Meals were freshly cooked each day. Tea and coffee were on tap.
Very good entertainment, for not only residents but visitors also. Much enjoyed by all, especially the end of life care
provided with dignity.

From the first meeting, we were extremely pleased with the kindness and amiability of this family-run nursing home. The owners and staff were extremely efficient and made a large impression on our arrival. During the time my mother was in residence, she was well looked after and all her needs were met.
I must mention that the entertainment was of a very high standard and was variable with lots going happening on most days. We can't praise Green Trees enough.

My husband moved into Green Trees recently, before this I was caring for him at home. He has Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia. I got to the point where I could no longer take care of him without help. I had been looking at care homes in the area but did not feel they were the right place for him.
On
my first visit to Green Trees, I had a very different feeling. It felt warm, welcoming and homely. The manager was very understanding and helpful, any questions answered. Staff were friendly and kind to residents, who all looked calm and well cared for.
The manager is always accessible, food very good and all home-cooked with lots of fresh veg and well presented and plentiful.
All residents treated with respect and understanding. Staff are tuned into resident's individual needs. My husband is safe and well cared for.
It's a family run home and you feel like one of the family.
I'm glad I made the choice.

Green Trees is the closest to home we could have hoped to find for my father. Being small it doesn't feel like a hospital or institution. Very happy overall with the care given to Dad.

My cousin has been in Green Trees for over 2yrs during the time his health has vastly improved, his general care has been very good. He is always clean and well groomed. We always visit with no warning, therefore have been very impressed with his appearance. The staff are very attentive as are the managers.
Being a small care home enables Green Trees to be attentive to individuals.

Current Review Score: 8.1 (8.113)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.1 (8.113) out of 10 for Green Trees is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.3 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.800 for Green Trees is calculated as follows: ( (8 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 10 Ratings = 4.8

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.313 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Green Trees is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 16 registered maximum number of service users is 3.2. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 3.2 = 0.313

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
