Kent House is a fantastic Residential Care Home specialising in Dementia care and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Harrow Weald off Long Elms Road.

There is always an event or an occasion to celebrate at Kent House, the staff make sure they hold many activities so that their residents are always on their toes with exciting things to do. Kent house always welcomes visiting families and friends to join in on the fun, no one is left to feel out of place or unwelcomed.

The staff I have met at Kent House are first class, very caring and understanding towards my mother and also very welcoming to the family.

I am pleased with the continuing level of care that my mother is receiving at Kent House especially with the variety of activities that are provided. I am glad to see that the garden area has been improved and that the residents are encouraged to go outside and take part in activities out there.

The home is cleaner and brighter than I have previously seen. The staff from the manager down have bee helpful and pleasant.

Mother is well looked after, she has been resident for about 4 years and has made friends with other residents and staff. Facilities and rooms are well designed and after current upgrading will be excellent. Care is improving with the current new manager and staff.

Although dad did not want to be in care, he is slowly accepting that this is the only option. The care he receives is very good which is improving now there is new management and have a more stable staff.

Our cousin lived in Kent House for several years. She was very content and made many friends. The staff were supportive and caring and coped as her health deteriorated. She felt that Kent House was her home.

An overall good standard of care. My uncle is looked after well by the staff and treated with care and dignity. His room is kept clean and tidy and he is always dressed smartly by the carers and helped to shower and keep good levels of personal hygiene. He takes part in a wide and varied range of activities
which are laid on by the activities organiser. These are something he enjoys doing on a daily basis.

My father was transferred directly from the hospital to Kent House after illness made it unsafe to return home. At first, he was unsure and confused but with care and attention from the staff at Kent House he has settled in as is improving all the time. He is eating better and has made friends with
some of the residents. Our main concern for him is that he is well cared for 24 hours a day. He is clean, well fed and has a lovely room and is free to move around at his own pace. I am so pleased with the care he is receiving at Kent house.

Before becoming a home manager, Ebbie's journey with Gold Care Homes began as a deputy home manager and a regional support manager. Ebbie's roles essentially entailed offering constant support and assistance to several homes within a specific region. Ebbie has obtained a qualification in Leadership and Management Level 5.
