My aunt was a resident at The Laurels for almost two years until her death in December 2016.

Throughout this period, she received excellent care from the staff and manager. My aunt was 95 and frail. None of her immediate family lived locally (and I live in New Zealand). It was, therefore, a great

comfort to know that she was so well looked after. I visited my aunt at The Laurels on two occasions and my brother who lives in Surrey visited regularly. We were always impressed with the care and empathy that was shown by the staff and the attention to health and medical issues.

I would not hesitate to recommend The Laurels to anyone with an elderly relative needing care.

I would like to offer the highest possible recommendation for the care received by my late mother at The Laurels. She lived there for two years until her death aged 97 earlier this month. The devoted care and love for Mum shown by all the staff, in particular the Manager, was much appreciated by the
whole family. We could not have wished for a better home for her at the end of her life. The Laurels provides a much more homely and comfortable environment than a purpose-built care home. Mum felt happy and cared for by the staff. Our heartfelt thanks to all of them.
