The Meadows Residential Care Home caters for 25 residents across 20 bedrooms. It is a family run care home designed for people who like the intimacy and homely feel of a smaller care home. The incredible team go above and beyond to anticipate their residents' every need.

Since 2020, the Home has been undergoing major upgrading work to embrace the notion of continuous improvement to the general environment of all communal areas and all private rooms. All bedrooms have a full set of en-suite facilities with brand new ceramic sanitary-ware and spot-lights to the ceilings. All floorings have been replaced with non-permeable flooring and all walls skimmed and newly decorated.

A rear and side extension are due to be completed by this summer to provide an additional 6 bedrooms and a much larger lounge, quiet area and dining room.

It is located in Greenford, West London, with easy access from the A40, the M25 and is also a 5-minute walk from Greenford Tube Station, which is on the Central Line.

The staff are acutely aware of the problems and anxieties that moving into care can bring. They will support your transition sensitively with compassion and understanding. All of the staff have the knowledge, experience and skills of dealing with the issues and concerns surrounding such an important change, for which reason they will offer you constant support and guidance.

They boast a long-standing permanent workforce who always believe in putting their residents first. They believe that they’ve created a family in both their carers and residents and only believe in employing outstanding individuals who are able to meet exceptionally high standards.

The Activity Coordinator provides relaxation classes /sessions every morning to aid relief of many issues facing older people such as depression, loneliness, and isolation and the Team believes in the application of diverse techniques to boost residents' morale.

My mother was very well looked after in The Meadows and I always felt that she was in a safe and secure environment, where her needs were addressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. I was always kept informed of any situation which arose with my mother, especially with the Covid pandemic resulting
in me not being able to visit as often as I would have wished. The owner, manager and all carers were very approachable and importantly, listened and worked closely with me to ensure my mother was content and as stress-free as possible. On my visits to the home, I was always impressed at the warmth, care and respect the staff showed to all the residents and this was reflected in the happiness and relaxed manner of both residents and staff. The home was bright and modern and my mother told me the food was very good and the residents enjoyed many activities. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Meadows as a first-class home.

Dad has been at The Meadows for just over 12-months. He has settled in well and is cared for to a high standard. Covid protection is a priority, and the team take all precautions to make visiting safe. There are lots of activities to entertain the residents, and Dad enjoys taking part in these. It's
never easy to leave your own home to live in a care home, but The Meadows is somewhere the family could recommend.

My father-in-law has been at The Meadows since December 2018, and throughout that time, his care has been second to none. He suffered from Alzheimer's. but this year, after a hospital visit last summer, his health has declined considerably. All the staff from management to the carers to the cooks and
cleaners have been amazing. They have nursed him back to physical good health, ensuring he has regular contact and stimulation despite being confined to his room currently. Communication with the home is excellent, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Mum has been at the home for over a year. We took our time to check all the care homes in the area, and to be honest, I am so glad that we picked The Meadows. Mum is so happy with everything. The staff are excellent. Management is always at hand to oversee every single aspect of care. The activities
are amazing. There is an air of relaxation and comfort throughout the home. They did very well to contain any spread of Covid. We are so happy and thankful to The Meadows.

I've not been able to see the full care home operation due to Covid restrictions, but Mum seem very content and cared for. Staff and management have been very helpful and taken time to explain current arrangments in a kind manner. Looking forward to seeing more of the care home in the future.

Thank you very much indeed, Joe. Mum settled in very well, and she loves her room. She is so please with the staff and all the activities that she is engaging in every day. She participated in baking a few days ago, and she took the lead to show the others how it is done. She is extremely happy and has made new friends, with whom she converses at the dining table and entertained them with information all related to Ireland and how life was in the days gone past. Once we open up for visitors to wander inside the Home, you would be able to see her room, which is brand new, freshly painted before she arrived, with new flooring and new sanitary ware.

My aunt needed an emergency bed and I could not believe our good fortune to find a vacant bed here. There is a lovely, fresh smell when you enter, which is always an insight of a clean home. The residents are all well cared for and there are lots of activities on offer. My aunt expressed her happiness
and satisfaction with stay.

Dad has been at The Meadows for nearly two weeks. As a family, it was difficult when we realised that Dad could no longer remain in his own home. The team have really helped with the move and Dad seems to have settled in well. All of the staff seem to be very caring, friendly and professional. The
home is modern and clean. There are lots of activities during the day to keep residents entertained and there seems to be a high ratio of staff to residents. The food is good and Dad has been eating well which he was not doing when he was still living on his own.
This home is not cheap but you get what you pay for and the peace of mind that comes with knowing that Dad is safe and being well looked after by a caring team is worth it for our family.

This is a wonderful home, that took my aunt in at short notice. My aunt sufferers with dementia and had been distressed for months, when having to live in her own home, alone, prior to arriving at The Meadows.
Within 24-hours of arriving here, her whole world was happy again.
She loved it here,
she made friends, helped staff and other residents, ate good wholesome food and most importantly, was very happy.
I cannot praise the staff enough for what they achieved with my aunt.
I would like to say a personal 'thank you' to the manager, who made what could have been a stressful experience for all of us, into a welcome experience. Thank you with all my heart.

Mum is in the Meadows for respite care. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and made to feel part of the family. Mum is being very well cared for and the staff are lovely. We are always made to feel welcome when we visit.

My father passed away in June this year after spending nearly 4 years at the home. Dad loved living at The Meadows and referred to it as his home. It is a lovely family-run home headed up by the owners and their daughter. The manager is amazing and so are her team. There is even a family dog called
Totti.


The Meadows is truly an amazing and individual home. I have never met such caring staff, and such lovely caring residents also.
If you are looking for a home for a family member or a friend, you will not be disappointed in The Meadows.

Dad has been at The Meadows for 20 months. His health is starting to decline, but the staff have all been amazing in their increased care for him. I am regularly updated and nothing is ever too much trouble with regards to dad's well-being and also, my own. The food is of a high standard and they help
dad to eat and drink when necessary, which is becoming more often, unfortunately.

I looked at many homes before The Meadows and wished I had looked sooner as this ticked all the boxes. The staff are all well trained and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The staff spend a lot of time with the residents listening to them and notice any minor changes and respond immediately. There
are regular activities and trips out. The food is varied and well balanced with a choice of menu. Rooms are clean and well kept- very comfortable and residents can have their own furniture. All the staff are amazing.

Michelle joined The Meadows on 21/02/2022, at which time her Deputy Suzanne equally started. Michelle came in with a wealth of experience in managing home-care services in Harrow prior to which she was a Branch Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Trainer, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Co-ordinator, Practice Manager, NHS Patient Care Manager, Health Advisor and Administrator.


She is currently completing a Diploma / Higher Education @ Level 5 in Health & Social Care. She is a respectful member of our Team, who is always driven by high-quality performance, good leadership and the application of new concepts to ensure proficiency, enthusiasm and the development of a productive team.
