The team are welcoming to visiting loved ones, appreciating the benefits that a good social atmosphere can have upon residents' mental health. Care Quality Commission have reported in their latest visit they found the staff caring and responsive, the staff are attentive to their residence needs and the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and full of laughter.

Overall a nice care home; most of the staff are lovely, some should not work in care as they don't care. Problems with my dad not having on his own clothes and them washing and shining them and his toiletries going missing and not taking the residents out in the summer to the park or in the garden.

Peregrine House is amazing. I have been visiting my friend for some years now, while she has been a resident here.

Staff are kind, cooperative and helpful. Always helping, even when you don't need it. We get a variety of food and I always get a good portion of it. Activities during Christmas were very good. I enjoyed children singing and dancing.

My father was homed here for a short while. Me and my sister decided that we wished for him to be moved as we found the home to be managed poorly. The environment was not conducive to inclusive activity and engagement. Activities Planner not being carried out, and some parts of the home are neglected.
Dead plants, dirty light fittings - a very depressing home for life. Care Plans are not staff-friendly and not being recorded correctly. Important risk assessments not being carried out when required, poor staff culture. Lack of investment by Gold Care Homes in building and training for management and staff.

My mother has been living in Peregrine House for some time now and each time I go and visit her she is well cared for and clean. I visit at different times of the day and I have never seen anything to make me concerned about her care. The staff are very dedicated and caring.

This is a clean and well-run care home. I come each week, as much as I can.
The residents are well looked after, and the staff look after them well in my view.
My family member seems very settled here, always clean and tidy. His room is clean and looks like it is cleaned often.
