I am happy in the way my mother has been looked after since she has been staying in this care home by staff, management and residents, and she is very happy and comfortable.

My mum's stay at Sunbridge was wonderful. All staff are helpful, courteous, always smiling and offering assistance whenever they could.
They kept us informed at all times of Mum's health conditions and acted immediately if she needed any medical care.
I couldn't recommend this home highly enough,
just wonderful.

There always seems to be a severe shortage of staff on a Sunday and nobody is visible to attend to residents. The gardens are in a terrible state with rubbish everywhere, gates and fences falling down and nothing has been done to rectify this despite emails to the company that owns the home and their
assurance this will be rectified. The home has a low food hygiene rating and some staff seem unhappy.

My experience of coming here every few weeks is it is well run and the residents are well catered for. Lovely staff, very clean environment.
There is nothing I could point to and say it's wrong. Excellent care home.

I sometimes feel that staff do not understand me and I am quite a deep person, some staff are lovely but some staff don't know how to respond to me. I am happy at Sunbridge but I cannot communicate with other residents as they have dementia so I rely on staff to communicate with and overall that is
good. I enjoy the time with staff that understand me.

I was very well looked after a hip operation and the staff were so willing and delightful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with a great deal of variety. I enjoyed the various entertainments put on and again, I was impressed by the variety.

I visited the home as informed by the social worker in view of having a room for my husband. There was no place but they would inform me as soon as a room became vacant. The reception lady rang me and later the manager rang me and invited me. I like the atmosphere which is not like I see in other places.
There are people talking, singing, laughing, staff are relaxed and it made me feel good. The day I came with my husband, we met the manager and staff who were very friendly and were well prepared for our visit.

Mum moved into Sunbridge Care Home in November 2015. During this time we found the service and help she received to be excellent. All the staff were always friendly and helpful and this was much appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sunbridge Care Home to all potential residents.

My aunt has only been in the home a week hence I cannot mark comprehensively in the ratings below.
First impressions are very good. She is happy and laughing with other residents and is now walking without a frame.
There is a good atmosphere on the floor she is in helped by the staff joining in.
I
had problems transferring my aunt into the home and was greatly assisted by the management and in particular the lady in reception.
