Sweetcroft Care Home is a boutique care home set in the heart of Hillingdon and Uxbridge and offers dementia care, residential care, respite and day care.

Leaving home can be a challenging time, so to ensure the smoothest transition, Sweetcroft Care Home boasts an authentic ‘home from home’ experience to help new residents settle. Offering care for only a maximum of 21, the select group of residents can comfortably interact and form new bonds.

The bedroom suites are designed to give residents luxury, privacy and independence. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with beautiful oak furniture and the majority of the bedrooms have an en-suite. All bedrooms and en-suites have a nurse call point system which offers residents rapid access to a carer 24 hours a day.

There are two separate lounges in which to socialise and enjoy the company of fellow residents. One of which is a quiet lounge, so there is plenty of opportunity for private moments by yourself or with your loved ones too.

At Sweetcroft, they recognise the importance of activities and invest a lot of time in making sure you're loved ones enjoy every day. With dedicated activities co-ordinators, there is a full programme of events on a daily basis, many of which actively encourage participation from family, friends and the local community.

  • SweetCroft Residential Care Home welcomes visitors throughout the day but would recommend allowing the residents to enjoy their meal times. Please note that lunch time is from 12:30 – 1:30 pm and supper time is from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. You can meet them in the lounge, in the conservatory, in the garden or in their bedrooms. And of course you are very welcome to go out with them whenever you like.

We were fortunate to be offered a room at Sweetcroft Care Home at a particularly challenging time for our mum who is suffering from advanced dementia. The staff at the home are constantly exceptionally kind and considerate and get to know the residents individually. The manager is kind, approachable
and communicates with family members. It is immaculately clean, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and residents are given good home cooked food. I could not recommend more highly.

Our Mum moved into Sweetcroft Care Home in December 2024. It had been an extremely stressful time, but even before she became a resident we were all made to feel part of their care home family.
All of the staff at the Home were extremely kind, compassionate and caring towards Mum and were exceptionally
supportive to us. We always felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Home was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with bright well thought out decorations and displays along with regular organised fun activities and lovely celebrations for Christmas and birthdays.
Mum really liked her bedroom which was very pretty and comfortable.
We were so grateful to everyone at Sweetcroft Care Home for looking after our Mum. Everyone was so caring, warm, kind, compassionate, professional, hardworking, helpful, thoughtful and fun. Thank you.

Mum had a very challenging, difficult time at the start of the year and it became apparent that she could no longer live independently. During those difficult months, we could see her spirit was gradually being crushed and she was a very defeated person who moved into Sweetcroft. It was the best decision
she ever made.
Within days she was back to her old self thanks to the excellent staff. Her room was light and airy, the food was exactly what she most enjoyed and she had fun with the various activities. Sadly Mum passed away after only five months at Sweetcroft but our memories of those months are all happy ones.

When visiting my good friend, the staff are very welcoming and treat everyone like family. The atmosphere is just wonderful and the cleanliness of the home is outstanding. Activities are brilliant as they always get family and friends involved. They have a good selection of meals to choose from too.

What can I say Sweetcroft really is the place to be. I have been visiting my friend each week and wow what a friendly and warm environment I walk into. The staff and management are so friendly and you feel very welcome the minute you walk through that door. The care that they deliver is what I can only
say is outstanding. The home is very clean and odour-free.
I am so glad my friend is here, I haven't seen him smile this much in a long time.

This care home quite frankly is superb. The manager and staff are nothing short of wonderful. Everyone is professional, kind, caring, engaged, supportive and actually fun - whilst the latter seems odd it's much needed at times. In an environment where my father is so unwell to have staff members who
can balance sensitivity with support and fun is appreciated and at times much necessary. My mother, brother and sister could not recommend this care home enough. Whilst it's tough knowing Dad is in a home this place at least does the utmost to be a home from home.

My mum and dad moved into Sweetcroft in January, it was the only home Mum and Dad wanted to go in as their school friend was there. It is a very friendly care home, all the staff are excellent and Mum and Dad are looked after exceptionally well. Sadly Dad passed away in May, the food is excellent and
Mum's care is excellent, couldn't fault Sweetcroft in any way. So pleased we put Mum and Dad in Sweetcroft, no regrets, entertainment is above and beyond.

Mum has been at Sweetcroft for over 3 years now. The staff are always cheerful and caring. Mum is well looked after here. Sweetcroft is a beautiful care home. The staff here are always so very welcoming. My mum is happy and content here. She always looks well and has a lot to say on the things she does on a daily basis. In fact, all the residents do. The management here will always answer to any queries I have regarding
my mum and will go out of their way to make sure she has anything she needs, whether it be health, medical and well-being. I myself enjoy being here when visiting. Such a beautiful, lovely care home.

As of December this year, my mum has been a resident of Sweetcroft for just over a year. In this year we have seen a dramatic improvement in her mental and physical well-being. This is down to the excellent care and attention she receives from all the staff and the inclusive environment at Sweetcroft.

My nan has been a resident at Sweetcroft for just over a year now. She has dementia and was unable to live on her own anymore. We were looking for a home that would give the care and love she deserves. We found it at Sweetcroft. The staff there are amazing, they really know the residents. The staff
are so patient and kind and always so happy and positive. Whenever my family and I visit there is always an activity going on. A birthday celebration, Chinese New year or Remembrance Sunday are a few examples. As a family, we are grateful for the care my nan receives, I look forward to seeing her happy and well looked after and when I leave, she waves at the window, just like she did when she was at her own home.

Harry has been in the care industry for nearly 26 years and brings with him a wide range of experience. He has worked in many varied roles at a senior level for both the NHS and private care sector. Needless to say that Harry is very highly qualified for the position as registered care home manager and looks forward to working with residents, staff and community colleagues alike.
