Mr sister seems to be well looked after by the staff. When we visit she is nearly always still in bed in her room. She told us that is myself and my two other sisters that this is what she prefers as she is not happy sitting with the other residents. She has a radio but not a TV as her poor eyesight
means she would not be able to see and when she did live by herself she rarely watched the TV anyway. Because she is single, and always had a good job, and was looked after that is why we feel she is as contented to lay in bed all the time as it's her choice.

What a lovely, friendly and warm environment to come into. Always a smile from the staff and Nana when I arrive and no matter what time I come in, I always get offered a cuppa and there is always an update and time for a chat. The staff are attentive and care very much. It's like a large family here.
When I'm old and grey, I would like to come somewhere like this. - Thank you.

Our mother has been a resident at Henrietta House for 3 years due to her complex health needs. The staff are extremely caring at all times and mum has settled in well there. There are various weekly activities that take place which residents enjoy and once a month a church minister goes there for
prayers.


Also, the rooms are clean and tidy and mum enjoys the meals provided by the kitchen staff.


In general as a family we are very happy with the care provided by the home for our mother.

This is a very friendly and well run care home. My mother has now been there for 3.5 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's. At times she can be very difficult, but the staff and manager have been excellent at dealing with her outbursts. Her care needs are well met, hygiene and general appearance,
and the hairdresser and chiropodist visit her there. My mother enjoys the food and is well nourished. Often there is entertainment, music or a church service and a Christmas party and summer fete. Recently there has been a Mad Hatters tea party and yet to come is a beach party!
