My husband went to Ambassador House very unwell with dementia. He was aggressive and hard to keep calm. The staff did an amazing job keeping him calm and finding ways to let him be himself but not disrupt everyone. We could visit whenever we wanted and were always made welcome. I can't thank the staff
enough for the care they have given over lockdown. They have saved my life.

My father resided in the Ambassador for 5 months. We have had no complaints, he was happy there and regarded it very much as his home. The staff were always welcoming whenever I visit. My visits were always unannounced and I have never seen anything there to raise my concern.

Yesterday I visited Ambassador House we were welcomed, very relaxed, friendly, good-natured staff. Very caring and cheerful. Residents were finishing lunch at their leisure and the food looked excellent. We feel that my mother-in-law is very well looked after, clean and tidy, hair clean and cut. The
manager has an excellent attitude, kind and concerned for the client health.

I visit on a weekly basis, sometimes more often. The place is always clean and always someone stays with the residents in the lounge. There is always music on loud. My friend is deaf so it's a good idea to have it on loud. She is often sitting doing her knitting. The drugs are given regularly at certain
times by a senior carer. Sometimes the confused people create problems but there is always someone to take care of them.

When Mum first went to the home in June 2018 there were a few issues. First, her clothes were not returned after laundry, one window was permanently open in her room, she spent many hours in bed, her toiletries disappeared and were being replaced by family. Her wardrobe and drawers are always in a mess.
Clothes were not folded and her underclothes were being thrown out when soiled. Since November 2018 we have replaced 20+ pairs of knickers.

We as a family, are really happy with the care that our mother has received at Ambassador House. The care is person-centred and meets all her needs. The staff are very caring and helpful and appear to enjoy spending time with the people they support, nice feel as it feels like a family home.

My Mother has been a resident of the care home for 18 months. During this period there was a high staff turnover at one stage which did leave the family feeling, somewhat, apprehensive. However, things have settled and the care being delivered to my Mother has been tailored to her changing ability and
needs. Currently, the staff provide a care of which we are happy with.
