My mother has been in the home for 2 years, almost exclusively bed bound. I visit 2/3 times a week and have found the home truly excellent. She can be challenging but is treated with utmost dignity and respect. Staff are always willing to help, cheery and wonderful with mum. Never once have I doubted
her level of care!

I visited Applegarth to see a dear friend who had just moved there and the first impression was very good. The staff were wonderful - it was all very clean and comfortable. I shall visit again.

Wonderful welcome and highly uplifting experience throughout the visit. All the team at Applegarth are warm, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Our friend as a resident is extremely settled and feels the same way.

My partner has been in Applegarth since September 2019 and had been there twice before for respite. He was extremely difficult when he first went there as he did not want to be there and just wanted to come home. There was no other option but for him to be there for his own safety. The staff handled
him with such patience. At long last, he has settled down and I cannot praise the staff enough in how they have handled him. Applegarth is not "posh" but it is homely which is what you want for your relatives.

Although I have no other care homes to compare with, I can say the following:
My Dad has been resident for around 15 years.
Applegarth has looked after him extremely well.
My dad's physical health has improved to as good a level as could be expected.
My dad's mental health has improved beyond belief.
He
is happy and feels safe.
He has some wonderful friends which include other residents and staff.
From a personal point of view, I do not worry about him.
I know if I need to be informed of any situation I receive a call promptly.
I am well received when I visit dad (around 4 times a week).
Brilliant.
