Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or
appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter
medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any
other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review, we were so happy to see your excellent scores for the home in every category. I understand you have spoken to the home manager at Clara Court in regards to the food in the home which is made daily by our chef-led team. All our menus are planned with feedback from residents with plenty of choice and variety every day and we will, of course, ensure that, when your mother joins us for her next stay, we have included some her favourites on the menu. We have also spoken with the chef who will prepare ingredients so they are served softer and are easier for her to eat and enjoy. Job Title: Home Manager
I’ve been at Clara Court since 2009, when I joined the team as a care assistant. I joined because Care UK has a clear vision for older people’s care which I believe in. I’m also passionate about providing high quality care and I want to make a difference to the lives of the people we care for.
Another rewarding part of my role is empowering colleagues to ensure that residents live their lives in the way they want. I enjoy engaging and motivating colleagues and seeing them develop and succeed.
Each day is different in this role. I enjoy having the chance to continue learning and developing my skills, and I love spending time with residents, supporting them to continue to live happy and fulfilling lives.
