My wife has dementia but has settled in quickly and seems very happy and well cared for and feels secure. Staff are well organised and trained and have a good attitude to residents who they treat well and cheerfully. Very impressed with the way the home has handled the
coronavirus.

My mother has been in this care home now for over 5 years and in her 98th year. We have seen changes in management over the years and the present manager is showing good leadership bringing the best out of the caring team. My mother is happy, always smiling which is due to the very caring staff at the
home.

A wonderful, caring and unpretentious home-from-home. My mother was a resident for almost 5-years and was always treated with great respect, dignity and love. Being an independent lady she often preferred to spend much of her time in her room, enjoying TV and visits from family and friends, though other
activities were always offered. She was never far from social interaction with staff popping in with drinks, snacks and for a chat - She never felt lonely or neglected. Medical care when needed was always swiftly and efficiently arranged. In the last 6 months of her life, she was bed-ridden but her personal care was always carried out with great respect and dignity. In her final few weeks, staff were supporting her and the family with unfailing love and devotion. Wonderful, wonderful home.

After visiting many care homes in our area we chose Burlington Hall for our relative. It is attractive both inside and out and the staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are of a reasonable size and are all ensuite and we were able to furnish it with her personal belongings. The food is excellent and
to a high standard with a good choice and all meals are made on the premises by the resident chef from fresh produce. We were informed that none of it is frozen! There are a variety of activities both morning and afternoon which the residents are encouraged to join and also special events which they hold outside with entertainers and barbecues. Unfortunately, our relative was only there for two years but we could not have chosen a better place for her to be cared for and we are very grateful for the care and kindness shown to her by the staff and management.

For nearly eight years Burlington Hall has provided exemplary service in the care of my Alzheimer's afflicted mother. Changes in management have not impaired the level of service, nor the culture which can be summarised as "working as a team, stronger together"! In the midst of this pandemic, my mother
has not only stayed healthy but also put on weight - a testament to the care and consideration delivered.

Dad was in Burlington Hall 2015-2020 with dementia and mobility issues. A little more affordable than other homes in the area but he received very good care with good food. Despite not being a nursing home, they nursed Dad at the end of life and fed him. The front of the home always lovely with many
flowers. Purpose-built with sensible shaped airy rooms. Never charged for extras except for reasonably priced hair cuts and chiropody. There was a TV provided in his room, they even had it repainted. Eye tests and flu jabs arranged as appropriate. Good relations with local GP's. Fee reviewed annually (never more) and rises were not excessive.

My mother received wonderful care throughout the six years she was in Burlington Hall. From the day she arrived, it was absolutely the right place for her to be. She remained content in one of the pleasant, purpose-built rooms and my brother and I never had any significant concerns about her welfare.
The current manager cares deeply and seems to be well-liked and respected by the staff, who are generally excellent. In short, I can recommend Burlington Hall wholeheartedly and without reservation.

Both my father and aunt were resident at Burlington Hall for over three years. We found the standard of care extremely high due to the excellent and caring staff. His home is very modern with good amenities and the quality of food is high.

A modern, spacious care home with good sized en-suite rooms, dining room and well-tended garden areas. Friendly, caring and welcoming staff. My mother was resident here for several years.

My father was very happy living in Burlington Hall. He was well looked after. The staff were all very kind to him. The food was good and he felt very at home there.
The staff were always friendly towards me and happy to help in any way.
Nothing was too much trouble. The gardens were well kept and
used on many occasions for outdoor activities.

First impressions are most important - Burlington Hall has five stars for this. The exterior is enhanced by colourful and beautifully maintained gardens. The interior is fresh and clean, and the staff are welcoming, cheerful and polite. The rooms are light and airy, and many have garden views. The lounge
is ideal for those residents who wish to socialise and enjoy their meals with others. The staff take every care to ensure residents are comfortable and content and are always there to provide support and assistance when needed. Care plans are structured for each individual, whereby a familiar routine will help a resident feel at home. Family input, as far as likes and dislikes are concerned, is welcomed. My Father spent nearly 3 years at Burlington Hall, where he was comfortable, safe, beautifully cared for - and most importantly of all - happy. Would I recommend Burlington Hall? Yes, of course, I would!

My father came to Burlington after spending 4 months in hospital, he was very confused, had very challenging behaviour and had lost a lot of weight. This was supposed to be for a few weeks while we tried to find him a home closer to my brother, due to his complex needs and behaviour this was proving
to be difficult. In just a few short weeks we noticed a huge change happening with Dad and although it was not within our search area we decided we had found the perfect fit for him. The staff at Burlington very quickly became part of our family, their care was amazing, it was as if Dad was their Dad, from the chefs who cooked amazing food (he put all his weight back on) right through to the carers who made it their mission to get to know each resident and their needs and wants. They welcomed my mother who’s 90, that she was able to sit and have a meal with Dad was special and they always kept us up to date on everything. Anyone who chooses Burlington for a relative will not regret their decision.
