All meals, laundry and care are included in the price. The exclusions are discussed during the assessment / admission process. For example, Dry cleaning, Chiropody, Hairdressing and Newspapers are not included in the weekly price.
Please discuss fees with the manager as they are dependent on the type of room and care needs.
Devon Lodge Residential Home currently uses an advanced booking system for safe visiting. Visitors are requested to telephone 5-10 minutes before entry. The home advises anyone with cold/flu symptoms to not enter the home due to the risk of infection. Visitors have their temperature checked and masks can be provided when visiting Devon Lodge. Garden Visits and indoor visits available, please speak to (Registered Manager).

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I can appreciate when residents do not wish to participate in all of the activities offered; it can be disheartening for family members when they visit. The activities are decided by the residents. We will continue to book entertainers and singers in addition to the gentle exercise classes and our usual activity staff members to ensure stimulation throughout. The proprietor is currently redecorating the entrance hall. I apologise if this makes the entrance look uncared for. The small lounge, known as the 'quiet lounge', is designed with dim lighting for people who would like to self-regulate their emotions if they may be overstimulated. We are happy to move a standing lamp in the quiet lounge during your visits to ensure Mum's comfort. Thank you for your understanding and your support, we have taken your points on board, thank you.
