I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff and the job they do at Cleaveland Lodge Care Home. From the outside looking in, it appears to be well-structured, well-organised and very well-managed. I see real care and dignity and thorough professionalism by the staff when interacting with the
residents. I would say that the residents' rooms could do with a bit of investment. Apart from that all very good. Suffice to say my mother really likes it here.

The care provided at Cleaveland Lodge Care Home is outstanding.
Mum has two main care providers within the home who are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble, they do so much more than care, they have a very personal touch.

Having written 2,500 words of praise I receive a message to cut down to 1000.. what to cut!

The staff are very caring and friendly and go out of their way to ensure their residents feel at ease and welcome, the premises are kept clean and much is done to preserve the dignity of their residents.

Likewise, there was always a warm welcome for visitors. Food is plentiful and there is never too much trouble to have that extra cup of tea with biscuits or sandwich. It was good to have a private day room where visitors could sit quietly with their relative, something we didn't see elsewhere and there is a choice of rooms to sit and eat. Although we had our stepfather at Cleaveland Lodge for just six weeks respite, the staff made it a happy environment and could not have been more generous with their time and attention.
