My mum has Alzheimer's and has been at Eastham for 3 months. She settled in very well and is very well cared for. Her mental state has improved very much and as a result of better concentration, no longer needs to use her hearing aid! The staff are very patient and caring, and have a good rapport with
residents, although faced with some challenging behaviour.
I am very happy with mum's care and her continued well-being has taken a load off my mind. I would recommend Eastham to anyone who wishes a homely atmosphere for their relative, in a very pretty setting.

I am Karolyn, the proud Home Manager, and I'm delighted to introduce you to our exceptional residential and dementia care home nestled in the picturesque village of Woodham Ferrers, just southeast of Chelmsford, Essex.


My journey with Runwood Homes spans 12 years, starting as a carer here at Eastham. Through dedication and passion, I've risen to the position of Home Manager. As a registered social worker, I also bring a unique perspective to our residents' holistic well-being.


Eastham Care Home offers a perfect blend of comfort and professional care with 22 beautifully furnished bedrooms, a spacious, airy dining room, two inviting lounges and homely designs throughout.


Our stunning location and thoughtfully designed spaces create a warm, welcoming environment where residents truly feel at home.
