Located on the Essex Coast, Corner Lodge is a purpose-built home designed to provide dementia care in a homely, comfortable, bright, and secure environment.

Corner Lodge offers:

Very pleased to hear that my cousin is well looked after and calm in himself. Corner Lodge is a very supportive environment for him and his health is greatly improved here. Suggest trying Flax seeds in his diet, it works for his other relatives. Many thanks for your kindness and care.

I am extremely happy with the care provided and the cleanliness of this home. Dad is always clean and well kept, well fed and his health has improved greatly since he has been here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and kept me informed of any changes. The home is immaculately clean, well decorated
and homely. There are always activities going on which are nice to attend and see how other residents react and join in. I would be happy to book myself a place here.

The standard of care was very good, and the support was very good. As far as the food was concerned they were very cooperative as my wife could be difficult with food- it was generally quite good. The staff are very good, the managerial side was very cooperative. I liked the entertainment.

My mother went to Corner Lodge in April 2017. I live in Malawi and can only visit when I come back, usually twice a year. Obviously, I was very concerned for her well-being, given all the horror stories that one reads about care homes. It is a huge relief that I find her to be in such a lovely, caring
and clean environment. My mother appears to be content and well cared for. I hope that this continues. It is a credit to all of the staff that such kindness and concern is shown to the residents.

Both my mother and father have been cared for at Corner Lodge. Sadly my mum passed away last year but was always treated with love, kindness and dignity. This applies also to my father. The staff are very caring and are always there with a cuddle and smile. Entertainment is also of a very high quality
and things are arranged at very regular intervals for the residents. I am very happy with the care given here.

My sister has been a resident in Corner Lodge since October 2015. Since becoming a resident in Corner Lodge, she has joined in the activities basketball, snakes 'n' ladders, flower arranging and has found a whole new social life, she loves it in there, she also loves the quizzes. The staff are friendly
and welcoming and always make time to discuss with you the resident's needs.
The staff and management are helpful, and the home is kept fresh and clean and nicely decorated. There is always plenty of food and drinks for the residents and their families. Great friendly atmosphere
