I've found Frank Foster a very nice care home for my mother. All the staff are very helpful and friendly and my mother has done lots of activities. The home is always clean and tidy. Most importantly my mother is enjoying it.

My mother has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year. She was reluctant to move from her flat, but needed more care than we could provide. She has settled in well and seems happier than we have seen her in years. Her physical health has also improved. The staff are friendly and cheerful; we are
always made welcome on our visits. There are lots of activities for the residents, from art and crafts to fitness classes. The staff also take groups on outings, for meals, to museums and to the zoo! Birthdays are celebrated by staff and other residents, and there is always an excuse for a party, be it for Christmas or Chinese New Year, for the Olympics or football. The home is well decorated and always smells fresh. The grounds are also well cared for and those resident who wish are encouraged to help with care of the garden. We could not have found a better home for my mother.

Mum has lived at Frank Foster House for over a year now and has settled in so much better than I had dared to hope. Despite some initial confusion of "I might go back to my flat soon" she has really settled in and has thrived under the excellent care provided by the wonderful staff. It been really reassuring
recently seeing mum appearing in the social media posts going out and about on trips, most recently to the zoo where she appeared to be having the best time, it was just lovely to see the smile on her face. I've always found the home itself to be spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming and the staff are the best, always friendly to visitors and their care for the residents is beyond doubt. I consider us very lucky that mum has found a place in such a great home and really can't thank the staff enough.

We can not praise Frank Foster care home and team enough. My mother in law has settled so well. In fact well beyond our expectations, she has had a totally new lease of life, she has enjoyed outings, keep fit, games and really enjoyed all of the lovely meals too, her room is always immaculate, the
home smells so lovely and fresh no matter what time we visit. Highly recommend this lovely care home. We can not thank you enough.

My cousin has been in the Theydon Bois home for a few weeks. Her general wellbeing has improved enormously. She is much more mobile. It has taken a while for her to settle and she is now joining in with the activities she can. It is so good to see the improvement.

I visit with my therapy dog each month, the residents love to have a stroke and talk about the dog. The home is always extremely clean and staff are very attentive with the residents, it's a lovely place to visit.

Mum has settled in to Frank Foster far better than we expected, she is well looked after and very much enjoys the activities. I can not speak highly enough of the staff who are always helpful and caring, the general feeling is always happy and positive. We are so pleased that we chose Frank Foster and
mum now thinks of it as home, she was very anti going and the change has been remarkable which is all down to the staff. Thank you.

Lovely home, very well maintained garden, and beautifully decorated corridors and rooms. Very nice 'Cafe' with cakes/biscuits and tea/coffee facilities. Wonderful staff in all departments. Although I have one small criticism in that my mother often appears dressed in someone elses blouse/cardigan after
being labelled, maybe a room number would help?

We can not express how happy we are with the all round care my mother is getting. It only took a couple of days for her to settle in. This is down to the great and outstanding care she is receiving. We honestly haven't seen my mum so happy in a very long time. She is always smiling, and saying how happy
she is , how much she is loving the food too and the many activities they provide to keep her very stimulated. This is all thanks to the manager and his amazing and hard working team .

All the staff are polite, friendly, informative and approachable. The care home is well-maintained, exceptionally clean and always smells clean. I mentioned a GP and Chiropodist visit for my mother and these were both facilities by the following day. The staff spend time talking to the residents as
well as providing care and support in a clean and safe environment. Very impressed!

Every week I visit, the home looks and smells clean. All the staff are happy, helpful and seem to enjoy working in the home. Everyone seems very well looked after. The food seems to be nutritious and the facilities are great. The activities are stimulating and different each day. So all the residents
get to be involved. Other activities such as days out and summer fetes are so good and involve families as well. The gardens are cafe are lovely to have for residents and visitors. I can't compliment this care home enough. I am very happy with everything.

My aunt is so well looked after by the amazing team at Frank Foster House. She is always well dressed and everywhere is well kept. Focus on stimulation is excellent. Her recent 100th Birthday Celebration were arranged by staff with friends and family all welcome.

We have found Frank Foster Care and support for my mother-in-law to be outstanding. She has only recently gone in and we had a few concerns with the care report, but there is no problem. The new manager seems to have the home running really well with staff motivated and caring. Well done.

The staff at Frank Foster have been incredible in caring for my grandmother since she moved there in December 2023. She really enjoys living here, as she has found herself great friends, and is treated so kindly and with dignity by the staff. I have no complaints, the staff are always ensuring my grandmother
receives the care that she needs, and I feel very reassured that she is in a place that will accommodate and look after her as she is rather vulnerable in her older age.

My father came to the home in January following a fall for respite care. However, my father decided that he would stay as he could see that he was better off in the Home. I can't thank you enough for looking after dad and caring for me too. I have always been impressed not just by the cleanliness but
also the attention to detail to decorating on high days and holidays like for example Easter. Plus this year the whole Home has been redecorated tastefully. The staff are all friendly and very caring. I found that the carers would always answer any of my queries and deal with any concerns I would have plus give me advice. Whatever time of day they are always available to have a chat. Dad really enjoyed the food and appreciated the care that he received. The staff are very innovative in trying to stimulate the residents and offer many activities. There is a lovely 'cafe' on the ground floor for both residents and visitors alike which is very welcoming.

I really can't express my gratitude to all the staff at Theydon Bois and the lovely manager who runs the home. My brother has only been terhe a couple of months and he is so much more settled from a amoth ago. I can only say thank you and God less you all the home is just so lovely nd clean. We as a

I am originally from Mauritius and I started my career in Social Care at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a housekeeper. I left Runwood to become a manager of some successful care homes that were rated outstanding and decided to come back as the manager.


In 2017, I won the National Dementia Care Award for Inspiring Leader and also in 2021, I received a British Citizen Award for volunteering work in the community.


I am very proud to be part of the Frank Foster House Family, and I was amazed at the incredible support I have received from my colleagues, residents, and relatives. I enjoy seeing the residents happy and well looked after, and I am proud to be able to lead the team in reaching an excellent standard of care.
