Thank you for taking the time to review Stambridge Meadows. I am sorry to hear that your views of new ownership has not been a positive one, and I would like to reassure you that since the day we were taken over, the home has improved enormously for the residents and the staff, with a lot of money invested into the home. Our previous owner took the minibuses and the owner has purchased a new one, which will be shared with our other two homes. We have had staff leave for various reasons over the year and a half, and a recruitment process has been in place since the beginning, however, this takes time for the correct applicant to be appointed, we have been using agency staff to maintain the staffing levels required. They are fully trained and have been a great support to us and the residents/relatives. Recruitment for a new activity co-ordinator has been more difficult and this search continues. The staff do assist the residents in the garden and walk around the grounds with them.

We value feedback highly as this helps shape our continuous improvement to ensure quality of care for our residents and their families. We do use agency staff, who are also fully trained and they have been a great support to us and the residents at this time, we are looking into your complaint and do have a thorough complaints procedure in the home. In some rare high needs or nursing care we may not be able to meet the needs of a resident, you would be supported in finding a more suitable placement. We understand how stressful it is to lose a loved one and care very much about all the residents at Stambridge.
