Our experience of Mundy House has been beyond expectation. Whilst the residential home had been recommended, at a point when we worried what the next step was in our mother’s care and with a reluctance to admit this was the next step to keep her safe at 92, she was received so warmly by Mundy House.
Our worries and anxiety about whether we were doing the right thing evaporated overnight. A huge step taken with difficulty, but the joy of seeing Mum regularly on social media, weekly updates, ad hoc concerns communicated by email or phone, Mum is part of the Mundy house family. She is safe, well looked after, warm and surrounded by a team who have largely worked at the setting for years.
A scare with health in November saw Mum in hospital for two weeks and very weak on her return to Mundy House. Expecting the worst, the wonderful staff have worked in rehabilitating Mum who is back singing, eating well, and totally engaged.
Highly recommended. Huge gratitude for all the team do.

My mum has been a resident at Mundy House for almost 5 years. The home and the staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. We get weekly emails informing us of what is going on and keep us up to date of any changes. My mum loves the home and all the staff, she joins in with most of the activities,
of which there are plenty. I can't thank the home and staff enough for everything they do.

My mother was brought back to Mundy House from hospital. Her mouth and vocal chords were ulcerated and she could not eat or speak. The wonderful staff at Mundy House have cared for her devotedly, and she now has her beautiful singing voice back, can talk and is eating normal (delicious) Mundy House
food. I cannot recommend Mundy House highly enough. It is excellent, the staff are caring, and the manager is always available and willing to help.

My first visit to Munday House, as I live in Dorset. My daughter and I are very impressed with the facilities, the staff are lovely, friendly and attentive, and my father-in-law complimented the food too, saying he was fed well. He has a lovely room overlooking the garden, which is perfect as he was
always a keen gardener.

The home feels very much like home from home, my mum has excellent care and we are always welcomed by the staff. I visit my mum weekly and am happy to help out where I can. My mum does have favourites here but all are very accommodating. Mum has also made good friends in both residents and staff.

I would 110% recommend Mundy House to everyone. The home is very welcoming, the staff are very attentive and always available to help out. My nan is being very well cared for and this means so much as we haven’t all been able to visit for so long. The photos I see of my nan are amazing. She is always

The care provided to my grandmother has been exceptional. The staff are very professional and express humility when dealing with her everyday needs. She felt safe and secure in the homely environment created by the staff and was always in clean clothes and had a cup of tea at hand. Her final days were
peaceful and she passed with dignity. We are truly grateful to the care home and the staff.

As a family member, I can't find one fault with Mundy House. Great care and kindness. Never seen or heard any stress or upset. Efficiency from staff keeps residents safe. My loved one is always clean with a smile. Lovely clean and tidy bedroom, meals look delicious. They have sing songs, bing and entertainment
with a lovely garden to sit out in on sunny days. Tea trolley refreshments and safe night watch. Always updates from staff if you have ay worries. Lovely place. Top marks from my family. Thank you.

I cannot fault anything about this care home. The quality of the care and this staff are amazing. The manager is so caring, since this pandemic he has really kept us informed of everything that has been happening. He sends us weekly emails and lets us know how my mum is. He and his staff are always
there to speak to you if you have any concerns or worries. I look forward to my weekly FaceTime calls with Mum and the carer who helps with these is amazing also.

Josi

Josi George

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2004

The Registered Home Manager, Josi George, has a passion for the care of older people, he works alongside his staff to ensure they offer the best in individual care for the residents. He achieved Level 5 in Leadership and Management in 2016. Also, he completed the My Home Life course for the Care Home Managers in 2016 conducted by the Essex Local Authority. Josi also has NVQ level 3 in Management, health & social care along customer care. He has also completed training courses in all mandatory subjects in the past and will continue attending all Healthcare Management Solutions own courses.


Josi has achieved Champions in Dementia through the Alzheimer’s Society and is a trained trainer for Dementia care. Josi has 20 years of experience in care and he has been the manager of Mundy House since 2014.
