When my brother came here, he was very poorly. The care he has received has been so kind, and he is so much better. The staff here are so caring, and I cannot thank them enough. When I leave, I know my brother is safe and well cared for. You are amazing. Thank you.

I needed to stay in Redbond Lodge for rehabilitation following major surgery. The management team offered me a room within two hours of my request and I settled in well.
The staff were caring, efficient and friendly and I was well looked after, which helped me so much on my road to recovery.

Our Mum was at Redbond Lodge for just over a year until she died recently. After not being able to look after herself at her previous accommodation due to health issues, her goal was to get to Redbond Lodge, where she finally got to. Every time I visited my Mum, all the staff were kind, courteous, considerate
and helpful towards my mother. Once Mum settled in, due mainly to all the friendly and helpful staff, she really enjoyed her stay at Redbond Lodge, with the various activities and days out, making some new friends and meeting up with some old ones. The accommodation was always clean and tidy and I cannot praise all the staff highly enough, they all do a brilliant job. Thank you all for looking after our Mum.

I wanted to write to thank you and your team for all the wonderful care you gave mum during her time at Redbond Lodge. During her stay mum was particularly taken with the staff. She was always complimentary about them. Mum loved the activities that the life style co-ordinator put on for the residents.
She also loved the external trips, particularly Clacton and Meadowcroft Christmas market. I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, care, respect and dignity shown to mum during her time with you.

I was apprehensive on my first visit to Redbond Lodge - but was quickly put at ease by the well-kept garden and the friendly reception inside, taking me straightaway to see my friend. There were carious options where I could sit with him, all pleasantly airy, comfortable and spacious and filled with
lovely plants and pictures. All the staff were so helpful and caring, making sure I felt comfortable. I was offered a drink and the option to stay for a meal. I was impressed with the lounges and spacious room and the cleanliness of the whole place. I left looking forward to my next visit.

From the first day of residence, my mum and I have had a good experience with Redbond Lodge and all its staff, including the kitchen. We have been fully updated with COVID jabs, doctor appointments, Mum's health overall and moving rooms in her best interest. Mum is also able to phone me with assistance
if gets upset. I have recommended Redbond Lodge to other people as excellent.

My mum moved into Redbond Lodge in January 2024. The staff have been amazing in helping her settle in at a difficult time for the family. Mum cannot fault the staff. She is very satisfied with Redbond. She has enjoyed the activities, loved the live entertainment and the food is very good. Mum has a
gluten-free diet which has been taken care of. I would recommend Redbond, it is a very friendly and homely environment for residents.

During the time my wife has been a resident of Redbond Lodge I have been greatly impressed with the warm and friendly interaction between residents and every level of management and staff. I know how difficult it has been for me to deal with my wife's wishes and needs but the smooth and friendly way

To all at Redbond Lodge who took such excellent care of my mum. Thank you. I am truly humbled at the impact my mum had on the people around her. She settled very quickly, loved her room, having her hair cut, having a laugh. She did have a wicked sense of humour! She was very happy and that is due to
all of you exceptional lovely people who gave and gave such compassion, dignity and love. The day of Mum’s passing was one of the hardest, saddest days of my life, but the support I was given and are still given by all of you got me through those first raw hours. I wish I could tell Mum of her journey leaving Redbond for the last time. I was overwhelmed by the support, compassion and emotion shown to a lady who was only with you for a very short time. I will treasure that going forward.
I know my mum was a wonderful lady, I am so pleased you all got to know her that way too.

I cannot rate the home high enough. The care that is given to Mum is outstanding. All the staff are exceptional.

My mum is always very happy when we arrive and has her favourite spots to sit in. The home is bright, airy and all staff are so welcoming and happy. The gardens are lovely. We've just finished eating a very nice dinner with Mum. The staff are all so friendly, family-orientated and have a great sense

When you walk in the door at Redbond Lodge, it is so clean and welcoming. The management and staff are friendly, kind and caring. There are plenty of activities to get involved in if you want to. All the residents are extremely well cared for and there is no better place for Mum to be.

My mother has been living with you at Redbond Lodge for the last 3 years. Each time we visit the home we are extremely impressed with the pleasant atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and the home itself is very clean and nicely presented. My mother recently celebrated a very big birthday
and the staff at Redbond made sure to make her feel special on her big day.

My mother arrived at Redbond Lodge in December. She has mixed dementia and was no longer able to live at home. From the day she arrived, she has been made to feel welcome, comfortable and respected. The staff are wonderful and the manager's leadership is outstanding. Mummy adores the activities and
variety of things to do. She is engaged and I am confident she is safe. I am kept informed and special thanks to the office staff for making the process so smooth.

Welcome to Redbond Lodge! My name is Raquel and I am the Home Manager of our lovely home. I moved to the UK in 2008 and started my career in the United Kingdom. I joined Runwood Homes in November 2008 in different roles from Healthcare Assistant, Care Team Leader, and Deputy Manager from 2012 until I decided to take a big responsibility as a Home Manager at Redbond Lodge. I strongly believe that Customer Service is a key priority, as is building up the home’s residents, families, relatives, and friends and understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of the care home. Redbond Lodge is such a lovely home with a good reputation in the community. I want to continue to build on that for more people to see it as the place to be. Furthermore, I want to ensure that the team feel valued and that they all have the training and support needed to do their very best. I love my team and deeply appreciate their hardworking commitment to their role. I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful, caring team who are dedicated to maintaining the safety well-being and the best quality of life of all our residents. I’m Patricia, and I’ve been a Care Team Leader for nearly 10 years. I love seeing the positive impact our home has on someone’s life. The efforts made by all staff members—from the care team to the domestics—are truly rewarding, and seeing the outcome of everyone’s hard work in our residents’ smiles makes it all worthwhile.
