Every time I visit my husband, the care staff always welcomes me, and by the appearance of my husband, I can see he is cared for so well, both physically and mentally, by the big smile he has on his face when he sees me and the staff.
I would like to thank all the staff at Sweyne Court for their dedication
to making my husband's life worth living.

I noticed the change in Mum from the first day she became a resident at Sweyne Court care home, she was really depressed before, but now she smiles a lot more and interacts with the staff and residents.
The staff are really attentive and always have time for Mum and all the residents. It gives me
great peace of mind to know she is well cared for.

Mum unexpectedly deteriorated, and it was necessary for her to move into a 24-hour care accommodation.
After looking around the area and reviewing a number of homes, we decided on Sweyne Court.
If I’ve made any correct calls in my life under heartbreaking circumstances, this by far is the best one.
Sweyne Court and all the staff have embraced my mum and our family as if we were their own. My heart is partly repaired thanks to Sweyne Court.

Staff, as ever, fabulous - friendly, empathic, knowledgeable and well informed.
Mum was really happy, looked well-groomed and smart. She loves her new home and has made lots of really lovely new friends with both the staff and residents. Most importantly, she has company and support whenever she
needs it - day or night.

Whenever I visit my mum, the care staff are always very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and they show genuine care and understanding of what my mum needs in terms of care or just companionship.
My mum suffers from dementia, and sometimes she can be a little bit stroppy,
but the carers just take it in their stride.
The seniors are always happy to answer any of my questions about Mum's care and her day to day living, for example, how she is eating and sleeping.
I'm made to feel comfortable and at ease when I visit, which makes it a nice experience for myself and my mum, and even with all the challenges that Covid has created, the staff are dealing with it really well.
I follow Sweyne Court on their Facebook page, so even when I cannot get to visit Mum, I can still see photos of her and the activities that she is taking part in within the home environment. It’s a lovely way for us relatives to see what our loved ones are getting up to.

On the onset, the staff were helpful, caring and professional in this time of Covid. My husband enjoyed very much his time in both respite and the day centre, it has helped him very much in coping with his dementia and also allowing me to relax knowing his needs are met.

The outstanding care my mum received; always kept up to date with progress, even in the pandemic. They did everything they could to make my mums last week happy and allowed us to be with her when she was dying and passed away. A very caring, supportive care home, especially if they have dementia.

We cannot fault Sweyne Court day centre. My father-in-law attends three days per week. All the staff are kind, caring and go the extra mile to make my father-in-law feel valued and welcome. They do lots of activities and also provide a lovely 2-course meal. We can't thank you enough.

My father suffers from Alzheimer’s, and we needed some respite care. He visits Sweyne Court twice a week. We had our reservations, to begin with, but really shouldn’t have worried. He absolutely loves going. He has met many other residents; they play games and socialise. The food is nice, and the teas
and coffees are always available.
The staff are great and treat the residents like their own families. The daycare lady is so friendly, and my father considers her a special friend. All the staff go above and beyond to care for the residents. I would like to mention one lady; she has always been so kind and helpful.
I would recommend Sweyne Court if you are looking into care homes for a family member.

My grandad has been attending the daycare centre for a few months now. After not leaving my nan's side for nearly 14-years, we thought he would struggle to come to the daycare. However, he is made to feel so welcome and enjoys coming so much that he has gone from one day to two. Staff always make him
feel so welcome and keep his brain so active; he enjoys the food and the activities that take place throughout the day. Myself and my family would definitely recommend Sweyne Court to anyone. The care provided is outstanding.

Sweyne Court was simply fantastic at providing good, quality care, which always had the residents as the focus. During Covid restrictions, they made every effort to ensure residents were entertained/engaged in meaningful activities - as well as providing emotional support in such difficult times. Their
communication with families was brilliant, and we loved receiving cards and photos they created with my uncle. Amazing staff who really care about their residents - thank you for everything.

My uncle spent his final months at Sweyne Court, and I was constantly impressed at the level of care he received. I was kept updated with any issues that arose with his health and wellbeing, and at my visits, he was well-kempt and contented. We managed to arrange discharge from the hospital at the end
of life as Sweyne Court were very willing to provide all care. He passed away peacefully in his own room.

Where possible, we are dedicated to caring for our residents until their final days at Sweyne Court, so the person can remain in their home. The staff and residents know each other very well and can provide end of life care, reassurance and comfort during this final stage of their life. My grandmother has been in Sweyne Court care home for about six months. I have not been able to visit her yet due to Covid restrictions, but my mum and aunt have, and they are so happy with her care there. I see pictures of my nan all the time on Facebook doing various activities and looking so happy.
My mum says the staff are all lovely and my nan tells her she is happy there.

My mother, of 105-years-old, has been a resident in Sweyne Court now for a few years and has always been treated with kindness and respect.
Although she is now bedridden, she is very well cared for, happy and content, which as her daughter, gives me comfort that she is safe and secure.


The staff

are always approachable, and any worries are dealt with with empathy and understanding.


I would recommend Sweyne Court for these reasons, knowing how hard it is when it comes to a parent or relative who resorts to extra care.
