Mum has been very happy here over the last 18 months. The staff are always cheerful and caring. They make every effort to include the residents in whatever is going on.
There is a variety of activities for different interests and abilities.
You can always speak to senior members of staff if you have
any issues or concerns.

Mum was at Tye Green Lodge for 3.5 years. It was the best decision our family could have made. The care home is exceptional and Mum was very happy there. The staff treated me and Mum with such care and dignity as she approached the end of her life.

My mother had to move from her previous care home that was closing and found the change very challenging. However, the staff have been very caring and patient and Mum is now settling into this very nice Tye Green Lodge Care Home. I would recommend this home.

My father has been a resident since 2018 and has been so well cared for. He is treated with respect, kindness and compassion. The home is excellent at keeping me up to date with any changes in his medication or condition. Whenever I call, there is always someone who is fully aware of his current situation.
Tye Green Lodge is clean, well looked after, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.

My brother-in-law moved into Tye Green Lodge on a temporary basis as my sister was unwell and he couldn't stay at home on his own. From the time he arrived, he was treated so well and his condition improved considerably. He has been well cared for and the staff have always treated him with respect and
dignity. He was happy during his time there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.

I had two recommendations for Tye Green Lodge and was so impressed on viewing the home, I didn't even visit any others. The manager was so obviously dedicated and proud of his home and staff. The purpose-built home is bright and cheerful and has rooms of a good size, all en-suite. My mum was very frail
and confused nine months ago when she came directly from a hospital stay and we all feared that she wouldn't be able to survive for long. It is amazing how she has thrived, gained weight with the delicious food, is definitely contented and mentally much more alert and loves the carers. A big relief to all of our family that Mum is now safe and cared for.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support my husband receives from all the staff, especially the manager who has gone above and beyond to accommodate my husband's sometimes challenging needs. I regret no longer being able to care for my husband at home but after visiting I now go home knowing
he is safe and receiving the best possible care in the circumstances we find ourselves in. Thank you to everyone involved at Tye Green Lodge.

My review covers both my aunt and my mother-in-law over a period od 10 - 12 years. It may seem strange that all ratings are 5 out of 5, but truly if I could give higher ratings I would. Can only say excellent, does not do the care home justice. We are so lucky and grateful. Kind regards.

From the outset, there was extraordinary attention to detail. My wife and I were most impressed by how much Tye Green Lodge wanted to know about our mother before she became a resident, in order for the staff to establish a connection with her and make her feel at home. Sadly, at less than three months,
her stay was all too brief to benefit from all the facilities, her health was too poor to enjoy the activities and meals on offer, so we cannot comment on these, although from what we saw, they looked excellent. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with nothing but warmth and kindness, affection even, good humour, empathy and constant encouragement. To know how well she was being cared for was a huge reassurance to us and we will always be grateful.

I would like to say how impressed I was with the care my mother received at Tye Green Lodge in the last few days of her life, in September 2022. The manager and his assistant always acted towards us with professionalism and courtesy. The staff obviously really cared about my mother and showed her kindness
and dignity even when she was unconscious. Finally, her clothes and room were always clean and thought was obviously given to her needs.

My dad is very happy here at Tye Green Lodge and has settled well. My partner was accepted by the manager for a move from Devon. Having Parkinson's, the journey from another care home of 260 miles was obviously traumatic. On arrival, the manager and staff were amazing, welcomed him, showered him and reassured him. Within 24 hours all furniture adjustments were done
that were necessary for a tall man. Staff are friendly, professional, smart and nothing is too much trouble. All helpful. Partner has settled amazingly well, says it is like a hotel. The bed is comfortable, the food is good and there are choices available. There is a nice garden area and some entertainment. Staff are never too busy to give me guidance. Relaxed, professional, friendly and happy atmosphere. Fortunate to have discovered this home.

My mother was a resident at Tye Green Care Home for the last 7 months of her life. She was very happy there and was cared for very well. My mother was not well enough to go out of her room for most of the time during her stay but she had a great rapport with the staff. We were kept very well informed
regarding my mother's health and general care needs and were always made to feel welcome as visitors (it was very hard for the staff when Covid restrictions were in place but even then they welcomed us within the regulations). I think the manager is great - always approachable and upbeat and happy, and several times I was there, I saw him popping in and out saying hello to all the residents. He clearly has a very "hands-on" approach. The staff are all lovely. My mother died in Tye Green Lodge, this was her wish at the end, as for her it had become her home. They ensured that her last weeks were comfortable and as easy as possible. I can't thank them enough.

From the moment the phone was answered from the first time I rang, the helpfulness was second to none. I cannot thank the manager and all the staff enough for their help in such a difficult time. Everything was fantastic. My one and only thing I would change is the wearing of masks. I know this might
be a rule, but the majority of residents are hard of hearing, and they make it more difficult. An expression or a smile would make the difference.

The Government guidelines outlined the wearing of PPE and masks across all care homes, not just to safeguard the amazing residents, but everyone visiting and our staff. We understand some older persons require reading the lips and expressions of people, and this was regretful in those instances, however; we were able to keep them safe and healthy for a longer period.

My mum entered Tye Green Lodge in August 2021. From that very moment, her care was excellent. She was safe, secure, well looked after and happy. All the staff really cared and did all they could to be helpful, along with their professional abilities. Mum was cared for but we as visitors were also shown
care and helpfulness. Mum passed away in May and through that period, all the staff showed total care and treated all with total dignity. I could write many words but 'Tye Green Lodge and staff are excellent' sums it all up.

My mum could not have received better care than she had in the last few months of her life. Her room was spacious, bright and cheery. The staff were amazing and the cleanliness and covid restrictions were complied with but I was able to see Mum as much as I needed to.

I have worked in the care industry for six years and have been part of Quantum Care for four years, in which I have undertaken various training in management and leadership, to gain the knowledge and skills to develop into a deputy manager.
