I am never met by a more cheerful, pleasant lady. She works tirelessly and always greets me with a warmth that is hard to find these days. She always has the time to speak to me and update me on activities that she does for my mum and all the residents. This is difficult at the best of times as she
has so many visits to organise and to make sure that all covid procedures are adhered to. this lady is the best advocate that Quantum Care could have. A fine example of how someone in this profession should work and act at all times. You should be proud Quantum Care.

Very grateful for the care my mother-in-law received whilst in the care of Tye Green Lodge care home, during the last three months of her life. Excellent manager and senior carer - they did everything possible to help us during her time in their care. Thank you to the whole team, from cleaners to cooking
staff and of course, the great manager and care staff for the professional way they conducted themselves. Thank you.

My stepdad was given excellent care at Tye Green Lodge, and we were very grateful that he was able to return there from the hospital for his final week of life. He knew he was loved and cared for, and we were so thankful for the attention he received.

The care my mum received at Tye Green over a period of two and a half years word's cannot describe. Carers all go above and beyond their care for all the residents. My mum was treated with the highest quality care, and carers have always encouraged Mum to get up when she was having a bad day and to
eat drink and take medication. Mum's clothes were kept clean and looking nice. The building always spotless, including Mums bedroom. Mum enjoyed her meal times and was always served great meals, which she enjoyed very much. Mum's health deteriorated this last 17-months after the death of her daughter; the staff were so supportive and done a wonderful job trying to keep Mum motivated, encouraged Mum to join in daily activities. Mum spent her last week very poorly, all carers were excellent showing so much kindness, care and support keeping Mum's dignity at all times. Again, going above and beyond their duties. There are no words to describe them or the care Mum received, including the manager and team - simply outstanding

Mum is on end of life care. The family were called, five days down the line, she is still going. The staff are exceptional with the care they give to Mum and the care towards the family. Nothing is too much. The management and office staff were very helpful in a very difficult time. Tye Green could
not do enough for us and continue to do so.

Due to Coronavirus have been unable to visit my 92-year-old mother since March but have eventually managed to visit due to arrangements made by Tye Green Lodge. Very professional with the safety of residents the main priority.

My mum has been at Tye Green Lodge since December 2018. Throughout this time, the care given to Mum has been excellent in all aspects. My mum has settled in fully and frequently says how good the staff are to her, how great the food is and how happy and fortunate she is to be at Tye Green Lodge.
Our
whole family has always felt welcome when visiting Mum at the home. I am a very frequent visitor, arriving at different times of the day and sometimes in the evening and I am always welcomed.
Tye Green feels like a home and most definitely is not an institution; there is a strong undercurrent of care running through the home - nothing is ever too much trouble.
The way that the home has coped with the COVID-19 situation has underlined the amazing dedication of the lovely carers and management team - they have been outstanding in the most difficult of circumstances.
It is so reassuring for us to know that mum is very well looked after and for Mum to feel safe and happy.

My mum worked in a care home until she was 70 so we wanted the best for mum and we found Tye Green. The grounds and upkeep of the home are first class, the food is amazing such a variety, the entertainment is great and enjoyed by all those who wish to go. As for the carers, I know them all and they
look after mum as they would their own family. Tye Green Lodge is the best.

My mum is so happy at Tye Green. Staff are so good with her and as she has been there for 8 years now it's a great relief to see her happy and content. She has her "little" ways but they take it in their stride! Also, food is good and plentiful. We are both happy and I am thankful I found Tye Green
for her, to spend her last years in such a happy place, it's lovely.

My father has been in Brays Grove for just over two years. Overall his care has been excellent.
However a few concerns recently - the restructure of removing managers for senior carers seems to put too much on the carers. Lots of experience has been lost to the home. Workers that we have complete trust
in have left.
Now the carer is leaving. Also, we would seriously request that a particular member of staff is brought back to Brays Grove, please.

Reception - there is no one ever on reception to buzz you in or out. Groups of staff are always outside on the bench smoking. The staff hardly ever make drinks. The staff seem to spend more time sitting in a group filling out the books rather than caring.
The food is disgusting and not the sort of
food you would give to a pensioner.
The care home is tired and dated and smells - it needs a good tart up and air fresheners.
They need more activities going on.

Quantum Care manages 25 care homes. We take complaints seriously and our Complaints Policy is visible in the Reception of each of our homes. We operate an “open door” policy where residents, family members and friends can raise any concerns directly with the Home Manager in order that, where possible, a prompt solution can be actioned. We have investigated the concerns raised in this review and cannot find evidence that any of these issues have been raised directly with the Home Manager.
We disagree with several of the items raised in this review, which also conflict with recent comments by the reviewers to staff members about the “great care” they are providing for their family. The Home Manager has made several attempts to set up a meeting with the reviewer and is keen to discuss and resolve these concerns directly with the family so that a successful outcome can be achieved for all.

My partner was a resident in Tye Green Lodge for the last 6 months of his life. From the first few hours there to the day he was transferred to hospital for the last time, he was made welcome. He was well cared for, the staff were so pleasant and friendly to him and to me. As his dementia advanced,
he still retained his individuality and the staff continued to treat him as an individual, with respect and humour, which suited his personality. I got to know the staff well, always seeing the same carers in Copshall wing. Regular entertainments and activities to enjoy and good meals. I visited him frequently without giving any prior notice, morning, afternoon, meal-times; I was never made to feel it was inconvenient and I could see all the other residents, with differing needs, were treated well and appeared to be quite at ease and content. I have told my family I would be happy to be a resident there if the need arises in the future.

I have worked in the care industry for six years and have been part of Quantum Care for four years, in which I have undertaken various training in management and leadership, to gain the knowledge and skills to develop into a deputy manager.
