My mum reached 85 in December. Staff went out of their way to help us arrange a surprise birthday party in the care home Lounge. The lounge is clean, bright and airy. We served tea and cakes and had a lovely few hours with all generations of our family. Mum had a lovely time.
I cannot speak highly
enough of the support and care that both of my parents receive at Beech Tree. The manager's door is always open which is a great comfort to us. We consider ourselves very fortunate that our parents can continue to live in the village where they have been for over 50 years. Keep up the good work - we appreciate you!

My wife and I visited Mum on Tues 28th Nov. It gave us great joy to see Mum smiling and in conversation with several other residents. She spoke highly of the support she receives from the care team, whether by day or night. We spent an hour together in the lounge. This communal facility is furnished
to a high standard with separate areas being created by the clever use of bookshelves. It was clean and tidy. Toilet facilities for visitors were also maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Beech Tree team keep up the good work.

I have the utmost praise for the care and compassion my relative received during her long stay. The kindness and gentleness were outstanding and her dignity maintained at all times by every member of staff. I was afforded the same kindness and was kept informed at all times. I was able to relax knowing

Lovely, caring atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. They really put the care of the residents first and create a fun environment to engage them. When we visited last, there was a visit from a bird of prey.

My mother has been living at Beech Tree for nearly a year. In that time, the staff have looked after her beautifully. Mum's confidence has increased, her dignity is maintained at all times, and she loves all the staff. Mum is treated like a human, not a nuisance.

I have been a resident for just two years. Being a younger person who has physical and mental health issues and I’m Dyspraxic I don’t have easy medical needs.
The staff at Beech Tree go above and beyond and they really look after us.
It is the King's Coronation today and have had a wonderful day with
a singer and party to celebrate.
All the staff are good but I would like to praise the activity ladies as here they are amazing.
They help us do a wide range of activities which include various animals coming here, arts and crafts, singers and different entertainers. We do regular armchair exercises and have a pamper day every Wednesday, we also do bingo and quizzes.
Thank you to each and every one of you not only for the work you do but for being my family.

I visit my friend who I have known for 20 years and I always find her relaxed and happy. She is clearly being well looked after. The staff are so caring and always make me very welcome when I visit.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by the maintenance man for our look around, everyone was so friendly and professional. It put our minds at ease instantly and first impressions really do count.
A member of staff showed us around and explained everything clearly, whilst listening to our own
story with empathy.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Beech Tree and am delighted that we chose this delightful place to care for my mother.

I went to see someone there today. His room was cold as there is no heating in their room. They are sitting in a chair with a thin blanket over them, and no socks or slippers on their feet, they were freezing. The window was also open. there are sockets exposed and cracked by the bed a plug is plugged
in elsewhere stretching across the floor so the wires are easy to trip anyone up. the time we were there no one came into the room to see if everything was okay.

In June my stepfather will have been a resident for three years. During this time the care the home provides under it's new management has improved enormously to a level that is highly satisfactory. At the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the home's lockdown procedure was effectively implemented and
although it meant limited or no contact for months we all recognized the necessity in the interest of Covid-19 isolation. Although my stepfather has special requirements they are met by the extremely caring and thoughtful staff who willingly accommodate his every need. His room is kept clean and tidy and his personal comfort and health are well catered for creating a close bond with the carers who look after him for which I am most grateful.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of the staff for their care and attention to my mum. Some of the staff have become friends which I hope will be maintained now that mum has passed away. When mum arrived at Beech Tree three years ago, I have to say, there were concerns that Beech Tree
was the right place for Mum, however, a change of management turned the home around for the better.
The staff have always been helpful; even when I had a few niggles these were dealt with in a professional way.
I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the love and care for Mum, especially in the past couple of weeks which has pushed the staff to their limits having to deal with the current covid pandemic; they remain professional and caring.
It was very difficult for me at the end due to restrictions, but the staff still made me feel that they cared and the support I received was second to none. When all of this pandemic is over; I will come to the home, to thank you all in person - Thank You.

Breakfasts cold and overcooked. Other meals tepid tea. One day tea cake burnt to a cinder (nothing to eat until cold breakfast). Average time to answer bell 10-12 minutes. Sometimes nearly 20 minutes. Bathroom bin not emptied for 3 days (then at my request). No showers all week. The fourth day felt
unwell. Blood pressure dropped 80/57/65. Request nurse an hour and a quarter before she arrived. Was asked what I wanted her to do. I got very upset and told her all my concerns, which raised my blood pressure. Parting remark - keep being upset then your blood pressure will stay up. Smoking area out my window. Formal complaint made.

The care home with nursing has been quite exceptional in the care of my dear wife in final stages of dementia. Nothing has been too much trouble both for my wife and visiting family. Indeed the nurses and carers are like a big family in the attention they give.

I was in this care home in Overton for one week's respite care. I found the staff extremely pleasant and cheerful. My room was comfortable and the facilities were clean. The food was of a good standard and I was made to feel welcome in the dining room.
I have not ticked the value for money box as I
feel the cost of care homes, in general, is excessive but I would certainly recommend this one to others.

My parents are both residents of Beech Tree, one has nursing needs and the other residential. They share a room and have an en-suite bathroom. We were only saying this morning how lucky they are to be in a home that feels like home in that they feel safe and cared for. The staff are patient and friendly
and go out of their way to make them happy and are sensitive to their individual needs. There are activities but the carers understand that some people don't want to join in but are happy to watch tv in their room. Christmas was excellent with staff dressed up as Father Christmas and elves. I will never forget my parents' faces. The gifts given were personal to them. A therapy puppy came the other week which they loved. The shops are within walking distance. Beech Tree is a friendly home and home is what it is, my parents can't take care of themselves anymore so the staff and volunteers do. Thank you for taking the worry away for both my parents, me and my brother.

My father has been a resident for the past seven months and I can’t believe the progress he has made physically and mentally since he moved in. The staff are all very caring and compassionate towards him which has helped him settle into his new home. Everyone has been very supportive not only to my

My partner became a resident in July 2017 after a series of strokes from 2015 which were regular since she moved in she has not had one stroke. She seems really happy there which I never thought she would be.
