I was visiting a friend who is a resident of Beech Tree, very impressive and a lovely home. The staff were considerate, kind and they took the time to ensure the comfort of the residents.

I had my concerns about grandma coming to Beech Tree considering local hearsay. However I am pleased to say that the place has been brought up out of its dark period - I have never seen my grandma look so happy and well cared for, she has really come out of her shell. The place is looking (and smelling)
great and the staff clearly care. Well done current management.

My Mother has been a resident of Beech Tree care home in Overton Hampshire for two years now. When Mum first went to Beech Tree it left a lot to be desired but when the new manager took over things started to change. Mum is on the top floor which is lovely, everything is beautifully decorated, great
dining room which Mum has been encouraged to use and she is also enjoying being involved in the activities. She was able to make her own birthday cake, thank you to all staff who help to look after my ninety-five-year-old Mum.

Since the new management came, this home is excellent. Every one of the nursing, carers and management has time to talk to you and the home has been made to make everyone feel welcome.
The home has in my mind gone up levels for cleanliness and the appearance.

Love seeing my nanna happy in the home, every time I go and visit, the staff are always friendly, and it’s such a homely feel. The activities seem fab, on my visits I’ve seen them have live singers, animals, and the local preschool visit. So glad we found Beech Tree and it’s nice that the family can
relax and know she is now well looked after.

I have been able to start seeing my friend again at the home recently after a number of months of being unable to visit due to ill health and each visit has been a lovely experience all the staff are so friendly and caring and make me feel so welcome. I am always welcomed with a warm smile from the
member of staff who works in the office but every member of staff I have met on each visit are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.
My friend is treated with such kindness from the care staff and always speaks highly of the care that is received and how much is done for her.
The manager is always there if I need anything and has made a significant impact on the whole feel of the home, I felt before that the home was missing something but now it feels complete with the manager and her team.
I would recommend the home to anyone who is faced with the daunting prospect of finding good care for their loved ones.
Well done to the manager and your magnificent team for taking care of my dear friend so well.

My mother has been a resident of Beech Tree for over 4 years. Since the home came under new management I cannot recommend it highly enough. My mum has a room on the recently refurbished second floor which has an excellent manager in charge of a very caring and friendly staff. I know with certainty
that my mother is very well looked after and that all her care needs carried out by the staff are done with empathy.
The new manager of the home is always approachable and every concern or problem is dealt with immediately and efficiently.
Since taking over the position she has worked hard to get the home to where it is today and, in my opinion, now has a supportive and efficient team behind her to continue with all the positive changes in the home.

I can't praise the care home enough. Every time I have been to visit, all the staff have been very welcoming and helpful! I especially like the activities they do. All the residents involved seem to thoroughly enjoy themselves! The resident I have visited there is very happy and says it's like home
from home! All this makes me feel confident they are being looked after extremely well!

We were very wary about finding accommodation for my granny but Beech Tree were so friendly and welcoming which made our decision as a family easier. They helped make the transition run so smoothly for granny and I would highly recommend.
The care staff, including the manager, are always on hand to
assist or answer any questions we may have as a family.
We feel we definitely made the right decision in choosing Beech Tree.

We were a bit apprehensive about putting our aunty in a care home, but I can honestly say the staff at Beech Tree have been absolutely amazing! The staff are kind, caring and very attentive. My aunt has new lease of life and feels very safe and at home. When I visit there is always a good atmosphere

I recently visited a long time friend of mine at this care home, I haven't seen her for such a long time and it was lovely to see her again. I telephoned the home first to find out when I could visit and was greeted with a lovely cheerful voice that explained that I could visit at any time. When visiting
the home, I was greeted by a lovely nurse who took me to see my friend, I have to say the home has a lovely, cheerful and warm atmosphere and I felt very welcome. I would certainly recommend this care home along with the lovely staff to anyone that needs care, to see my friend so happy made my day, thank you so much Beech Tree for the lovely experience and for caring for my friend.

I have placed my wife with this care home on the suggestion of Adult Services Basingstoke.
After visiting the care home I was satisfied they would give her the care and attention she needed for her Dementia. It was a relatively new wing and everything was clean tidy and efficient.


I have no hesitation

in recommending this care home. It is run by Select Healthcare Group and had a CQC unannounced inspection in February 2018 and was given a GOOD rating in all 5 categories.

My mum was a resident of Beech Tree for 8 months. She had a lovely spacious en-suite room on the ground floor when she was mobile, then when slightly less mobile moved to another en-suite room on the first floor, which although smaller was very cosy and light. She received extremely good care from
all the staff, nurses, care assistants and the catering staff. She was never forced to do anything she didn't want to, her wishes and dignity was respected at all times. She enjoyed the food and was always given a choice. Her room was kept beautifully clean, as were her clothes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When mum was nearing the end of her life, not only was she given excellent care, but also the family attending her bedside were treated with great care and tenderness.


We can only express our sincerest thanks to this great team of people, we will never forget what you have done for my mum. In our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend Beech Tree Care Home.

My mum has just arrived at Beech Tree after being transferred from another borough. The home's manager has been so welcoming and helpful to us. She is caring and listens to what we have to say. The home has a wonderful homely feel as soon as you walk in and the staff are so kind and friendly. I would
have no hesitation in recommending this home. It's very stressful when a loved one has to go into a home but we felt at ease straight away.
