My husband was a long-term resident at Chestnut Court Rest Home for over 5 years. During this time, he was given devoted care by the staff who also extended this care to our family. He and we were always treated with dignity and respect. The personal care was always good and the food is really nice
and plentiful. My sister (an ex-RGN) said she found it hard to fault the end-of-life care given at the period before his passing. The staff were so kind to us. I would recommend Chestnut Court Rest Home to anyone.

We are really pleased you agreed to take my brother as he was very difficult and his behaviours were off the wall to begin with. He then developed terminal cancer and you are continuing to provide care and treatment. We see also the staff going to any lengths to look after him respectfully as he deserves.
We are very aware of what the outcome will be for my brother but we can at least feel safe and rest assured that his care is being provided with all aspects/needs of treatment covered by staff that really do care fro him. We thank you for everything that everyone has and is doing for him.

As a resident for nearly two years at Chestnut Court I can only say how well my needs have been met. The staff are caring and considerate and undergo very stringent training in all round care work, resulting in everyone being treated as a person, not a number. There are good choices regarding food and
choice as to whether a resident wishes to stay in their room. The new uniforms enable residents and visitors to identify staff more readily, especially the seniors.

After viewing several residential care homes in Hampshire, Chestnut Court ticked all the right boxers for me. On viewing day staff were very friendly and welcoming. We toured the ground floor, 2 bedrooms, light and airy, large windows overlooking garden. Large lounge and dining area, and what a surprise
on the first floor, a lounge and dining area for those who reside there. Also good a lift, not a stair lift. Bedroom en suites very large and suitably furnished. Whilst discussing prices we were served tea and biscuits. The garden consisting of trees and shrubs and flower beds all pleasing to the eye. Result a very real rest home.
