Described as a ‘home from home,’ Woodland Court provides a range of care services including: residential, respite, day care and dementia care.

The charming three storey residential home is situated on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Fareham, neighbouring Portchester and its medieval castle.

All spacious and modern rooms are en-suite singles aside from two large and comfortable shared rooms. The communal areas and conservatory are relaxing and inviting, while the attractive garden can be enjoyed by the residents in the warmer months.

Woodland Court have an extensive list of entertainment and activities, created by an activities co-ordinator, which include regular singers and other entertainment, visiting libraries, a mobile tuck shop and ice cream van.

Good quality, nutritious food is a vital component for health and well-being which is why the food at Woodland Court is locally sourced and freshly prepared each day. A cook produces restaurant quality dishes, providing a balanced and interesting menu whilst also catering for special diets and preferences.

Lovely home, staff are wonderful, kind and supportive not only to my Nana but to us as family. They are always there, for help and support, very attentive and loving. Wouldn't want anywhere else for my Nana. I'm so comfortable and happy.

I managed to get up to see my dad for the first time since he has been in the home as I do not live near him, I was well impressed with the staff, and how they are with the residents. They are great to family members, they are also great when I ring to speak to him. I have recently found their social
media page which is nice to see what my dad gets up to, I can leave comments and they do respond, I am not sure if they tell my dad my comments but it is great to see what they do with them. Please keep up the good work.

Charlotte

Charlotte Harman

Job Title: Manager

Charlotte began her career at Woodland Court as a part-time Kitchen Assistant in 2006. After completing a fashion degree at Southampton University, Charlotte realised that care was her passion and returned to Woodland Court as a full-time carer. She progressed quickly and took on the role of Deputy Manager in January 2015 and then Manager in October 2017.


Charlotte is studying to gain her NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care and is very focused on providing a personalised living experience for all of the residents. Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family, as well as practising her hobbies: swimming, singing and drawing.
