Blossom House is a family-owned business specialising in care for people with dementia. Their aim is to provide a safe and comfortable home in a warm and friendly atmosphere to those no longer able to care for themselves.

Blossom House is situated in a quiet residential area of Hayling Island with a new conservatory leading to large private landscaped gardens to the rear.

I find the care home very obliging and always ready to answer any questions that arise. The staff are always so busy but still find time to talk to you. It is a clean, comfortable place and I think my Mother-in-Law is being looked after very well. She seems happy but who knows with dementia patients.

I have not seen my mother since the lockdown but the staff have kept me informed as to her wellbeing. I have always found the staff welcoming and ready to listen to any concerns or requests made on my mother's behalf. Mother enjoys her food and finds the meals excellent. I would like to congratulate
the manager and staff for keeping the residents safe and well.

From the first time, I met the staff when checking the home out for my mum I knew this was the right place. First impressions count a lot. How right I was. Nothing is too much trouble. Always friendly and helpful even when you can see they are extremely busy. Staff are the best asset to any organisation.
Very clean happy home with lots going on.

My aunt has been at the home for a few years now and she has been well looked after and cared for as her dementia has deteriorated. She is now confined to her bed and they do regular checks on her to make sure that she is ok and take the time to ask her how she is. Although they may not always get a

I was concerned about my mother who needed convalescent care but does not have dementia staying here. But the staff and the quality of care reassured us, having as pleasant a stay as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and attitudes were positive and friendly.
I was able to see that the dementia
sufferers (the home specialises in this and isn't suitable for those without really) were gently and tenderly cared for. Well done Blossom House.

All the staff were extremely kind and patient with mum, even though she wanted to go home (dementia). I feel they went the extra mile to ensure she received the best care. They were particularly kind to us when she passed.

There is a very friendly atmosphere from the moment one enters. The staff get to know all visitors very quickly and we are made most welcome. My husband seems very content there which gives me peace of mind.

My father became a resident at Blossom House in June of this year. He passed away at the end of November so was not at the home for very long. While he was there he received excellent care and was very happy in his new home. All the staff attended to his every need with compassion and empathy. The staff
were always on hand and gave a great deal of their time making sure he was comfortable. His food was also tailored to his changing circumstances and he enjoyed the standard and variety. His room was always clean and he was able to make use of the garden and courtyard in the early days.
I was always informed of any changes that the home suggested to help dad and I was in daily contact with them. I cannot recommend them highly enough for making my dads last few months the best he could have had. Thank you all at Blossom House, you all should be very proud of yourselves.

I have to commend all the staff at Blossom House. Each and every one of the care staff support each other and work with a real team effort. The atmosphere is relaxed, happy and productive which in turn makes Blossom House such a lovely home to live in. The standard of cleanliness is excellent as is
the food I would not hesitate to recommend Blossom House to anyone.

Kind staff, very patient. Rooms could do with TLC and installation of ensuites, aware this is in the larger plan. However, I don't think Mum will see this.
Food is consistently good, perhaps too big portions for some residents, a variety offered.
Generally, all well looked after. I am very happy with
the level of care and the communication from Blossom to family members.
Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my mum.

I haven't gone into dementia a great deal, all I know as a family member of a resident I've learnt on the way. I believe the staff really are motivated to give the residents a good life, the best they can, there is always one or more looking after them when in the sitting room. They also arrange a lot
of activities for them to do and I'm pleased my mother now joins in and enjoys.
They are most helpful in answering questions I might have, also making sure I'm ok.

I approached Blossom House at a time of crisis with my mother admitted to hospital and my father urgently needing respite care. I was met with compassion and understanding by the manager and every member of staff I came into contact with. Since my father's arrival at Blossom House, I have been impressed
by the friendliness and professionalism displayed by all staff - it has been most impressive and reassuring to me that he is in good hands.

My brother has been living at Blossom House for eighteen months now and we are very impressed with the attention and care that he gets on a daily basis. I'm pleased to say he has a good working relationship with the staff and is very happy and settled there. We the family feel we can call in at any
time and speak to the manageress or the lady who is head of care and speak to them about any issues with him. My brother also enjoys the freedom of exercise, to go out into the community and the staff again make sure he is safe and all checks are done and reporting in and out of the building.

My Dad a resident at Blossom House he is very happy and is always being encouraged to join in with activities he loves Bingo. Dad says he is very happy with his room and the food. We visit Blossom every week and we are very happy with Dads care and we feel supported and the staff and Management are
always available to ask questions and they act very quickly. The Home has just had a lovely refurbishment and it has given the Home lovely areas of brightness and all the finishing touches give the home a lovely homely and cozy look. Dad has also seen the changes and loves the Home too.
