Our family is fortunate to have our dear uncle as a resident at Maryfield for approximately 10 months now, and we couldn't be more pleased with the level of care he receives. Despite living over 75 miles away, we make it a point to visit him every week
From the very first moment we step through the
doors, we are greeted with warm smiles by the dedicated staff and management. Their unwavering kindness and availability to answer any questions or concerns we may have put our minds at ease
Our visits to Maryfield are always joyous but sad to see that our uncle is suffering from dementia. Not only do we get to spend quality time with our uncle, but we also have the pleasure of seeing him with my aunt, who visits at the same time.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Maryfield for the exceptional care they provide to our beloved uncle. Your dedication, warmth, and commitment to creating a loving and supportive environment have made all the difference in his life, as well as in ours.

I am very happy at Maryfield Care Home. Staff are very caring and friendly. My family visit me every day and they are happy with the care I receive. They always celebrate special days and I can spend quality time with my husband.

I think the home is very nice, friendly, the owner considers the needs of the residents. The home is family-run which makes it more personal, especially to hear the children is a tonic. My overall experience has been good and I feel very settled. I enjoy living here. The home have had a number of parties
which have been very successful.
The home are currently in the process of recruiting an events manager which will help to add to our current activity schedule.

My mum is very happy at Maryfield; her happiness, care and needs are paramount.
If she’s happy, we’re all happy!
Mum is well looked after. The staff are very caring and compassionate, and nothing is a problem. If we have any worries or concerns or need advice, they are there for us too.
Maryfield
puts on themed events, e.g. Hawaiian, Bollywood, with speciality foods or even just a BBQ when the weather is kind! All the residents really enjoy themselves, singing and dancing, absorbing the atmosphere. Family are welcome too, which is lovely - the more, the merrier!

Our family are very happy with the care our dad receives in Maryfield Care home. It is a very clean, light, airy home with patient, friendly and kind staff who work hard to foster a family atmosphere. The food is freshly prepared and plentiful, rooms are bright and welcoming and the extensive grounds
very attractive for walks and socials. Dad's spiritual needs are well met with the opportunity for daily prayer and fellowship with the convent and Catholic Church next door.

My wife and I travelled from Yorkshire to Hook to visit my Brother-in-law. We were so impressed with the care he was receiving. The staff are amazing and we saw first-hand that my brother-in-law was thriving after a very difficult time.

My mother has been in the care of Maryfield Care Home for a month now, and after being abused in a previous care home, the difference is like night and day. It is so well run, and I couldn't wish for better care. Mum had not been moved for six weeks in the previous home; these guys have had her out
in the sunshine - truly amazing staff.

My brother-in-law moved into the care home from hospital in October after his wife died. It had only just re-opened and at the time he was one of three residents but the numbers have built up and he now has plenty of people to talk to. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and caring. The Manager
visited him in hospital before he moved, to talk to him and make sure he was happy with the arrangements. He always takes time to keep us appraised of how he is doing when we visit and gently guides him when his Dementia and Parkinson's is making him be a bit difficult.
My brother-in-law enjoys the food and gets to visit the chapel next door every week. At Christmas lots of relatives joined the residents for a party with a sing-along and plenty of nice food.
I would recommend Maryfield. Thank you to all the staff.

I have been very happy with Maryfield Care Home. The whole process of transitioning my husband from our home to the care home was made very easy for us by the manager and his caring, friendly staff. The manager even sourced food to meet our special dietary requirements. The care home can improve in
the future by having activities set up for the residents. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Maryfield Care Home. They have loving and caring staff who genuinely care for their residents.

The care home is fantastic! Loving staff and caring manager, who have instilled a family atmosphere at Maryfield Care Home. They attend to residents' wishes and specific needs excellently. This care home has been a breath of fresh air for my father. It is a very clean, calm and fabulous environment for people to live in. The staff are exceptional; they go above and beyond to assist. Having both medical and patrol care has been a huge benefit to my father. Food is fresh and varied. A truly
wonderful place - I could go on, but will run out of space. Excellent! Thank you!

My friend was kindly accepted into Maryfield Care Home in late September when I felt that she wasn't being cared for with dignity at another home.
Almost a month in Maryfield and I am so glad we made the move. She is being looked after with care, compassion, dignity and kindness. I would be glad to
