There are indoor activities and in summer, trips out to various attractions. The gardens are large and well kept so residents and visitors can sit and enjoy.

Old Raven go the extra mile to entertain the residents. Their programme of activities went far beyond others when I searched for a place. The Facebook page is an absolute favourite with our extended family who are cheered by seeing her enjoying herself. The menagerie of animals is a particular favourite with Mum. Their encouragement for her to have a budgie in her room has proved to be a fantastic success.
Thank you to the manager and your staff for the piece of mind brought by your care.

Thank you so much for being kind enough to send this review in. I know my staff will appreciate your comments, as you know they really do care about all their Old Raven family. In these times of so much adverse publicity for care homes it is good if others who need care get some reassurance. It is extremely difficult for families to be able to do this themselves and of course, some 'older' people do not have family and it can be a distressing time for them to have to think about 'care'. So pleased to know Phyllis has you there to visit her. Sorry, we do not get to chat often, perhaps at the Christmas party. I try to keep a distance as I know families like to speak to Dionne and the other team leaders who are of course close to Phyllis. Hope you did not mind me asking you to send in a review. We have in fact arranged for the room to be decorated and the cleaners will now go in twice a day to ensure the room is kept tidy. Please let the Manager or the team leaders know when you are there if you have any further problems. We do take this seriously of course and thank you for letting us know. So pleased that mum is well and happy, the residents really do enjoy all our activities which is great. Best wishes, Gillian

Anne has been central to Old Raven's growth and development, building a strong and committed team of staff who truly strive to create a happy home where people not only feel safe but are able to enjoy their lives.

Anne Marie is the Homes Deputy Manager and leads the Care teams. She is a subject matter expert on Tissue Viability and Falls. She has a Level 4 Health and Social Care qualification.

Dionne is a Care team leader and one of four Senior Carers. She is also our Good Practice Champion, Safeguarding Champion, and qualified Phlebotomist.

Lynne is one of two Chefs, as well as our Infection Control Champion.

On a day to day basis, Terry ensures that Old Raven House is Safe. He is the Health & Safety lead and Fire Warden for the home.
