I was very impressed by Fleet Hall. A lovely homely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff who were always in attendance.
The process of organising my brother's stay was made easy by the help of the client liaison manager and her team. I would happily recommend it others looking for a care home
in that area.

Mum moved to Fleet Hall in February 2022, and it took a little while for her to settle in because she's never been a very gregarious person and with regular observation from the care team her dementia became more apparent. The level of care, kindness and attention which Mum receives is wonderful and
she has now settled into life at Fleet Hall which she knows is a safe, caring environment and which she now calls her home. Those early days were challenging for the family, and the level of understanding and support we received and continue to receive from all the staff is exceptional. Now when I visit Mum she is calm, relaxed and tells me how much she appreciates everything the team do for her. I would also like to express my thanks to the whole team, Fleet Hall has improved Mum's quality of life and given me peace of mind that she is well looked after in a kind, supportive and caring home.

The staff at Fleet Hall are just amazing! Nothing has ever been too much for them since my mother moved there last year. They are always so welcoming when I visit and so helpful when I phone. Mum always says the staff seem as happy as she is when they let her know I have called to say I am visiting
and taking her out for lunch. They always take the time to ask how you are and show an interest about where we are going and what we have planned. Some of the activities seem really great, particularly when residents go somewhere in the minibus. I really enjoy seeing the photographs on Facebook, thank you. Mum's accommodation is perfect for her and maintenance staff have been so helpful when she has wanted pictures or blinds put up. She absolutely loves it and takes real pride in her new home. Personally I really enjoy visiting Mum at Fleet Hall and my own life has improved as a result of knowing that she is happy, safe and well cared for.

My mother has become increasingly reliant on the staff at Fleet Hall, and as I have observed for myself nothing is too much trouble for them. The care she receives rates far higher than the CQC rating, which in my opinion should be 'outstanding'.

Every staff member has been helpful and kind in helping my mum to settle in at Fleet Hall. The answer to any question or query or request is always yes! Nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and family members can easily book in to join in meal times. Other options are always given if my
mum does not want the full meal on offer. There are a number of activities on offer for residents. It’s a special place and we cannot recommend Fleet Hall highly enough.

The high quality of staff and facilities more than compensates for the poor state of repair of the porte cochere and does not give a true first impression of the building. The interior suffers from a tired, old-fashioned appearance and is calling out for refurbishment.

My husband has been a resident at Fleet Hall for eighteen months. The care for his physical and mental health has been very good. The staff are professional, and at the same time very caring and kind. I have always felt welcome when I go to visit. Their accountability is excellent.

My mother has recently moved into Fleet Hall Avery Care Home. They have made her feel very welcome and are unphased by her life long vegetarian diet. On her 95th birthday, they organised a fantastic party for her with a wonderful cake and presents. Thank you for making this difficult transition so

My mother is frequently telling me how happy she is in the home. She comments on the friendliness of the staff and the good food. This is the most important thing. Personally I also like the home; the staff are very friendly and responsive.

My mother has been a resident for 6 months and both her physical and mental wellbeing have improved since then. The staff are all very caring and patient. Anyone who visits her remark on the friendliness and atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. It is not a chore to visit my mother as everyone
is friendly and the family all enjoy visiting. Her health has been monitored excellently since she has been there. If there are any issues we are always made aware either by phone call or email. There are so many activities going on that keep the residents entertained and I am sure these are what have improved my mother's mental health. She always comments on how hard the staff work and how lovely they are. I am pleased we chose Fleet Hall Care Home for my mother.

My late mother lived at Signature of Fleet for 21 months. She was very reluctant to move, but with a diagnosis of vascular dementia, the time had come. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped Mum settle in; they cared for Mum with diligence, respect and love, laughed with her, kept her safe,
and supported her emotionally and physically. Mum greatly enjoyed all the activities, clubs, outings and entertainment provided. The lifestyle enabled at Signature was vastly superior to living alone. Mum was part of a loving community, an extended family, never lonely, and always attended to. I could not have wished for a better ending for my dear mum. During her last month of life, Mum was able to stay in the familiar surroundings of her room, at peace and with people she knew and loved. During this difficult time, the staff were beyond incredible, attending to Mum’s hygiene needs and being friends and family, not just to Mum but to us too. I cannot thank or praise them enough for everything.

My aunt and uncle have moved into Signature at Fleet recently, and both are looking happier than they have in months. My aunt is now less isolated and is so busy; it is hard to pin her down for a coffee, which is fabulous. My uncle is now being treated with the care and dignity he deserves after a very
poor care home experience elsewhere. The team at Signature have gone out of their way to help and make all of us feel welcome. In my aunt's words - we didn't know it could be like this! Thank you.

Mum and Dad moved into the home just over a week ago - all the staff have done their utmost to help them settle in and support us as a family throughout. Maintenance helped us move them in - moving fixtures and fittings to best accommodate them. The carers have been attentive and supportive - taking
Dad for a walk and investing time to talk with him about his bird-watching hobby and other interests. Mum and Dad both agree they are being very well looked after, and we have had regular updates from the home.
We are very reassured that Mum and Dad are safe, being well supported and looked after through this challenging time for them leaving their home of over 60 years.

The signature care home is a great place for people with dementia as the care is 24/7, and they accommodate all idiosyncrasies. The staff are friendly and caring and go out of their way to be helpful. Access is not restricted, so I can see my wife at any time and as often as I like.

I visited my friend's Grandfather with them at Signature Fleet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very compassionate to those in their care and their needs.

My 92-year-old mother has been a resident at Signature at Fleet since October 2019. The care she has received throughout this time has been outstanding. This included the Covid-19 pandemic when Signature's health protocols to protect residents and team members were first class.

It's become home for my mother. She is more than happy; she feels safe and inherently comfortable. All staff are caring and attentive - all staff. It's a very peaceful place to be. The activities are pitched at the right level, with the outside kept in great order. The gardens and multiple sitting areas
are somewhere my mother loves; frankly, so do I! It always feels very clean and fresh - not like an old folk's home - more a peaceful, welcoming lounge. I really do enjoy visiting my mother.

My mother has been at Signature of Fleet for nearly six years. Throughout this time, she has been very well looked after.
The carers are exceptional. The manager is wonderful and very approachable. She always responds to any enquiry really quickly and is a very compassionate and gentle person.
The
receptionists are always welcoming and friendly. The chefs produce appetising and healthy meals.
The building itself could do with a refurb as I believe the previous group did nothing during their 20-year-plus (?) tenure. However, this is now underway.
I would highly recommend this care home.

I started working at Fleet Hall in 2021 as a care assistant in the Assisted Living neighbourhood, during this time I trained to administer medications and was promoted to a Senior Care Assistant. In June 2024 I was then given the opportunity to be the Residential Care Manager which is such a rewarding role and following 6 years in the care sector I have found my passion. I feel honoured to work with our amazing and committed team here to improve the quality of life for our residents.

I have three decades of knowledge and experience in catering in many different settings.


I am particularly passionate about fresh seasonal produce and its nutritional contribution to a well-balanced diet.


My team and I strive to provide a tasty and enjoyable dining experience for all our residents.

I have been very lucky to work at Fleet Hall for nearly 20 years next year as Lead Concierge. I have a great team on Concierge and enjoy meeting residents and their families, it’s a very rewarding job and each day is varied. We have a great team at Fleet Hall that I thoroughly enjoy working with and being part of a team that is very passionate about providing the best care.

Lisa Fretton

Job Title: Wellbeing Manager

Joined: 2015

I started working at Fleet Hall in the Reminiscence neighbourhood supporting residents living with Dementia. I worked as a senior carer for 5 wonderful years before being given the opportunity to become the Activity Manager. I really enjoy getting the residents involved in all we have to offer in our daily activity programme.


We run numerous clubs including Knitting, singing, cookery and gardening. We organise a variety of outings including boat trips, theatre trips, lunches and picnics and our country rides on the minibus are always very popular as many residents are local people and enjoy the scenery. I’m lucky to be part of such an incredible team across all departments who always go over and above.
