My mother has been a resident at Signature at Fleet for over two years, and even though she has dementia, she never ceases to compliment the staff on how kind they are, even when she is not in the best of moods herself.
The whole building is always warm and cosy, meals look delicious, and there is
a constant supply of snacks available all day if required.
The thing that I notice most is that family members and visitors are made to feel just as welcome as the residents; I never feel that I am intruding and can always speak to someone on the team if I have any concerns.

The staff at Signature at Fleet are all amazing. They know and respect my mother and treat her with such kindness and love; it is humbling to watch. I am comparing Signature at Fleet, an older facility, with newer and more modern facilities. Overall, I am happy with the care and attention provided by the home, often having to manage in difficult and challenging conditions beyond their control.
My only negative comment is the apparent reluctance
to distinguish levels of cognitive abilities and social needs by categorizing their charges in broad and collective terms - this principally applies to the dementia floor.

My mum has been with Signature since February last year. We had looked at many other providers and chose Signature for many reasons that suited my mum, and the highest among those was the atmosphere in the residence - it is friendly, happy and safe. We have since learned that this comes from the team
at Fleet. They work together very well and provide a great service. I guess that mood/ethos is set by the management, and it spreads to each staff member from there. Why is that so important? Well, because my mum is having a great time, but occasionally and inevitably, there is a challenge to overcome... each time this has happened, the team has stepped up with a great response. Many thanks to them! They are great! I do not hesitate to recommend Signature at Fleet to everyone who asks me.

My wife has dementia and has been at Signature at Fleet for over three years. Alzheimer's Disease has caused her mental and physical health to decline, meaning that she needs more help and support. This support has been readily available from the carers who do an amazing job helping at meal times and
throughout the day and night with mobility problems.
There are plenty of activities to take part in or just watch if she prefers.
The staff are kind and compassionate, and nothing is too much trouble.
The main thing is that my wife is very content at Signature at Fleet.

My auntie has been here for some time and is really happy there. She always has fun stories of what they have been getting up to and the activities the staff put on for them.
Everyone I have met there has been so wonderful, and the process of getting her in was really simple, and the team gave us
so much information beforehand, so we knew it was the right place!

My dear 95-year-old mother initially came to Signature at Fleet for four weeks of respite after a stay in the hospital. We soon realised that the care she was receiving was making all the difference to her recovery and giving us, her family, peace of mind that she was safe. To that end, we decided there
was no other option than for her to stay under the care of this lovely home. She continued to go from strength to strength, becoming very fond of the very kind carers and enjoying all the new possibilities living here gave her. She had five very positive months here until sadly she passed away, but we, as a family, will always be incredibly grateful for all the care and love she received. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind, and they all work so well as a team. Thank you so very much Signature at Fleet from us all. We will miss you.

My husband was well looked after for a respite stay whilst I was away. The staff were extremely pleasant, and he spoke very highly of the care that they gave him. My husband informed me that they went on day trips, which he really enjoyed and also liked the food that was provided throughout the day.
Upon my return, I found my husband looking well and was very happy. I will definitely use Signature at Fleet in the future and will recommend to anyone who would like their loved ones to be well cared for.

From the moment I contacted Signature at Fleet, everyone, without exception, that I have spoken to about my dad's care has been caring, helpful and professional. Everything is taken care of, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. My dad has been welcomed, and we, as a family, have been welcomed.
All the staff, whatever their role, show a personalised interest in the resident's well-being, and I feel so relieved and reassured that my dad is getting such good care. Thank you to the whole staff team.

My mother has been with Sunrise of Fleet for over 10 years and has always had fantastic care from all the staff. In addition, the management and supporting activities that are available along with a strong focus on resident well-being further adds to the belief that my mum is in the best place possible.

My 95-year-old mother has stayed at Sunrise many times for respite care and has enjoyed the excellent care and services provided.
I was a little concerned this time due to the current pandemic but I was very impressed with all the precautions taken and would certainly recommend them.
To Mum, it
is a very homely place to go and she feels very comfortable there and enjoys the meals and the care she receives.
Hopefully, she will have more stays in the future as we can relax knowing she is in safe hands.

Staff are very warm and considerate, which is what all people like. The food is excellent. I also feel my self-confidence and self-esteem has improved. It is good that residents can use the community computer and iPads. The activities are excellent; I particularly enjoy the weekly cookery club. There
are plenty of books to read too.

Dad was at Sunrise Fleet from March - July 2020 for care between leaving the hospital and going back to live at home. The care he received was above and beyond, the staff truly loved and cared for him. His health and well being were completely restored and he looks so well now, all thanks to the amazing
staff. Even in very difficult times, they kept spirits up, and the residents' health and well-being a priority. Everything is top-notch, the food options, the activities team, the cleanliness and the genuine care and attention from all staff. It was a sad day when he had to leave.

This is a long-overdue review to submit, my apologies. I, our family and my Mum are all very pleased with everything that the Sunrise team are doing to take excellent care of her, particularly during these difficult times. Every time I speak to my Mum, she's always in a good mood, which is a credit
to all of the staff, particularly considering how much the residents have had to remain in their rooms, understandably. Mum constantly sings the praises of all of the staff there and is very happy to be a resident there.

I enjoy meeting lots of people and building lasting relationships.


Fleet Hall is a wonderful purpose-built care home with such a homely atmosphere alongside a caring and dedicated team.

I have over 20 years of legal and healthcare administrative experience and I am responsible for HR, finance and recruitment. Every day is different. I love meeting residents and their families and making sure all our staff are happy and feel valued, no matter what job they do. I am privileged to be part of an amazing team who are passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care.

I have always had a passion for providing exceptional care and in May 2024 I was delighted to return to Fleet Hall as the Dementia Care Manager. With over 10 years in the care sector, I bring a passion for improving the lives of those with dementia through empathy and innovative strategies. I'm excited to enhance the quality of life for our residents and work alongside our extraordinary and dedicated team.

Job Title: Residential Care Manager

I started working at Fleet Hall in 2021 as a care assistant in the Assisted Living neighbourhood, during this time I trained to administer medications and was promoted to a Senior Care Assistant. In June 2024 I was then given the opportunity to be the Residential Care Manager which is such a rewarding role and following 6 years in the care sector I have found my passion. I feel honoured to work with our amazing and committed team here to improve the quality of life for our residents.

I have been a part of the team at Fleet Hall since 2018 and I was promoted to Head Chef in June 2024.
I have three decades of knowledge and experience in catering in many different settings.


I am particularly passionate about fresh seasonal produce and its nutritional contribution to a well-balanced diet.


My team and I strive to provide a tasty and enjoyable dining experience for all our residents.

I have been very lucky to work at Fleet Hall for nearly 20 years next year as Lead Concierge. I have a great team on Concierge and enjoy meeting residents and their families, it’s a very rewarding job and each day is varied. We have a great team at Fleet Hall that I thoroughly enjoy working with and being part of a team that is very passionate about providing the best care.

Lisa Fretton

Job Title: Wellbeing Manager

Joined: 2015

I started working at Fleet Hall in the Reminiscence neighbourhood supporting residents living with Dementia. I worked as a senior carer for 5 wonderful years before being given the opportunity to become the Activity Manager. I really enjoy getting the residents involved in all we have to offer in our daily activity programme.


We run numerous clubs including Knitting, singing, cookery and gardening. We organise a variety of outings including boat trips, theatre trips, lunches and picnics and our country rides on the minibus are always very popular as many residents are local people and enjoy the scenery. I’m lucky to be part of such an incredible team across all departments who always go over and above.
