The residence operates with care and attention to the needs of my mother. The decision to go into care was a very traumatic event in her life and the home handled it with care and compassion. A year on and mother has settled well with the occasional regret that is sympathetically treated.
The home
delivers residents, a place to call their own but with many activities and outings giving each resident many choices and the opportunity to have a good quality of life.
The food is of a high standard varied and plentiful. The dining room has the ambience of a refined hotel restaurant.
The public rooms are tastefully furnished and give room to move about with walking aids except the "Bistro" is too cluttered.
The gardens surrounding the property, whilst quite small, give residents the opportunity for fresh air.
Limited parking is available for visitors, with a covered porch for residents to enter transport in the dry.
The staff are wonderful with a great attitude that makes a happy home.

I moved my aunt to the home in December and it is wonderful. The staff are amazing, they are kind, caring and professional. They are always there to offer help and support to both my aunt and myself. I can’t praise them enough. My aunt is a different person treated with respect and dignity. It’s like

Having looked at several similarly priced care homes in Hampshire, I think Sunrise of Fleet is one of the best. It is light, bright and cheerful and has more the feeling of a hotel than a hospital. The staff seem great and there's a wide range of activities on offer for the residents. People seem generally
to be happy.

My father currently resides in the Sunrise Care Home in Fleet. Our experience to date of the service they provide is exemplary. The facilities, location and most importantly, the staff, are excellent. They have provided my father with an extremely high level of care and they have provided myself and
the rest of his family with the reassurance that he is safe and happy and is being treated with the respect that he deserves. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.

Feels like a residential hotel with many and varied activities going on, especially during weekdays. Staff seem very caring and take their duty of care responsibilities seriously. One or two issues with cleaning at weekends occurred but were dealt with satisfactorily. My mother is quite frail now but
is treated with respect at all times. Cost is expensive but covers most activities inclusively.

Sunrise of Fleet is a lovely care home and my mother is happy. Well cared for although not always appropriately dressed, I know it is difficult as she is wheelchair bound.


The laundry is a cause for concern, several items of good clothing have gone missing, cashmere sweaters are reduced in size and

white bras now a paler shade of grey.


The staff are lovely and always happy to chat to me, the entertainment is good and she loves the Country Bus Trips, the driver is a lovely chap with a super voice.


On the whole a happy experience for her and the family.

Sunrise is a very friendly, welcoming home. The residents are treated with respect and dignity and provided with number or stimulating activities daily. It is particularly well sited, being a short, level walk to the high street of Fleet, for those residents who are fit enough. Whilst it is not the
same as one's home, I and my Mother are very satisfied that it is the best choice available

A very good care home with good overall facilities and standards.
There is always room for continuous improvement especially in the dementia unit where residents cannot speak for themselves and the staff and management review and act on feedback on this continuous improvement very well.

My aunt became very anxious living alone and we visited Sunrise of Fleet, the accommodation suited her perfectly and there was a vacancy.
The staff could not have been more helpful getting to know my Aunt's individual preferences. I hope that she can stay here at Sunrise of Fleet indefinitely.

I have been very lucky to work at Fleet Hall for nearly 20 years next year as Lead Concierge. I have a great team on Concierge and enjoy meeting residents and their families, it’s a very rewarding job and each day is varied. We have a great team at Fleet Hall that I thoroughly enjoy working with and being part of a team that is very passionate about providing the best care.

Job Title: Wellbeing Manager

Joined: 2015

I started working at Fleet Hall in the Reminiscence neighbourhood supporting residents living with Dementia. I worked as a senior carer for 5 wonderful years before being given the opportunity to become the Activity Manager. I really enjoy getting the residents involved in all we have to offer in our daily activity programme.


We run numerous clubs including Knitting, singing, cookery and gardening. We organise a variety of outings including boat trips, theatre trips, lunches and picnics and our country rides on the minibus are always very popular as many residents are local people and enjoy the scenery. I’m lucky to be part of such an incredible team across all departments who always go over and above.
