Whitegates Care Home is located in Ringwood in Hampshire and is a residential care home providing care to up to 20 residents. Whitegates Care Home is a small, friendly care home which is a privately run family business.

The beautiful building offers comfort in a warm and welcoming environment. The home and garden is the ideal place to relax and feel like you are at home from home. The home is located within walking distance of Ringwood. The main purpose is to provide a 'home from home' feel which enables residents to continue to enjoy their privacy and chosen lifestyle with caring support available at the touch of a button.

Whitegates Care Home prides itself on providing high-quality care. They welcome visitors to experience just what makes their residents’ home such a wonderful, warm and caring place to live – lovely surroundings with all the comforts of home, daily activities, and of course care tailored to the needs of each and every individual resident.

They offer 24 hour care and support for people from as young as 65 years. They are a residential care home and the home specialises in physical disability and frail elderly care.

Whitegates Care Home has a team of qualified staff most of whom hold a minimum of a NVQ level 2. Those who do not hold an NVQ are required to complete the Care Certificate. All staff attend mandatory training regularly to ensure they remain up to date with new regulations and legislation.

I would like to say all the care home staff are lovely and very helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. My sister is very happy there and very well looked after.
I would have no problem highly recommending this home to anyone.

Moving to a care facility must be difficult for most people, leaving behind the familiar and adapting to new routines and people. The people at Whitegates, from leadership through all of the carers and staff, have been brilliant, they are kind, patient and very caring. One couldn't ask for a friendlier
group of people to look after a loved one. The home has a good variety of activities and is one of those small non-corporate places that don't let rules become more important than humanity. A month in, I couldn't be happier about Mum's safety and care at Whitegates.

When arriving for the first time we were treated with a warm reception. My mother felt relaxed and her transition was smooth and immediately seemed settled. The staff are very attentive and caring. The premises are clean and warm. She is enjoying the food and joining in some activities making friends.
We are very happy with the decision to move her to Whitegates.

Whitegates is a very caring place. Very cosy lounge where residents spend most of their days. A quiet lounge as well which relatives can go into for privacy or residents' room. The food is very good and varied. Halloween has been celebrated with home decorated and funny photos taken. Meals are taken
together in the dining room if the residents wish.

Full and careful Covid precautions were taken. Home is always full of such friendly, caring staff, nothing too much trouble. The place is always very clean. One very happy Dad in residence. What more could one wish for?

Always difficult selling the family home and moving into a care home, but Whitegates have made the transition super smooth and Mum has settled in very easily. Always there for help and advice, and the staff are really cheerful. I could not recommend the home highly enough, it’s like a family there compared
to some other care homes we have experienced.

Worried my uncle has gone downhill since being there, not enough going on for him. Spends too much time in a very small room. I have a feeling the owner doesn’t like me. Don’t like restricted visiting times.

Whitegates Care Home have given my mother-in-law excellent care over the three years she has been a resident. The staff are kind and respectful and always have time to interact with residents and their families. During the pandemic, Whitegates staff have worked extremely hard to keep the home virus

I have found Whitegates Care Home very satisfactory for my brother's needs over the past two years. He has Parkinson's and OCD. Staff are caring at all times day and night. The management team has worked very hard to keep the home covid-free, observing Government guidelines continuously. He keeps in
touch with me (his only close relative in this country) and friends with his private landline phone and I have visited him once a week since restrictions were lifted. During lockdown, he met other residents for meals.

Always received welcome. My friend seems to be settled here and well looked after. A bit disappointed that my friend doesn't seem to have frequent face to face doctor visits but is looked after well by the staff here.
