Woodlands is a thirty-nine-bedroom residential care home with an excellent reputation in the Fleet community for the consistently high standards of elderly care it achieves. The home was rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC in 2019.

Trained carers provide 24-hour care and support for the residents, helping to support them in their chosen lifestyle choices and care needs. Residents' dignity and independence are respected at all times. There is a full activities and social programme for residents to participate and enjoy.

Outside, the home has large scenic gardens with a sheltered courtyard in the centre and an active gardening club. Elsewhere, there are level lawns, fish ponds and woodland with its own bluebell glade, all accessible by flat wheelchair friendly paths.

The residents are at the heart of the home, helping the chefs chose the menus and creating the activities programmes with the activities coordinator. Woodlands is a happy home, where the residents' happiness and welfare come first.

Great BBQ, staff amazing and all families enjoyed it. The chef did an amazing job, the food was delicious and the singer was great. Everything was well organised and luckily the weather held out.

My father recently died in Woodlands at the age of 104. He had been a resident for nearly 5 years and we couldn't have been happier with his experience throughout that time. The care he received from all the staff was exceptional at all times - warm, attentive, and caring. Whenever there was an issue
they would communicate immediately and effectively. The food is excellent and he always enjoyed it. The personal care given by the care worker was always so kind and dignified. In his last weeks/days, the care and kindness shown to him and to us was wonderful. Thank you to all the staff. We will miss you.

My Mum has been a resident of Woodlands for over a year now. During this time there have been many improvements in her overall health, including a healthy weight gain and an increase in her social activities. The staff are exceptionally caring and share warmth and humour with the residents (and visitors!).
I couldn't ask for more and both mum and I are very happy with our decision to move her to Woodlands.

My mother has been at Woodlands for two years and is very happy there, in a nice cosy room with a relaxing view of the garden with its fountain and flowers. She's in her room most of the time and checked regularly by the attentive staff, with personal care being of a high standard. Food looks good,
and there is a well-structured morning and afternoon entertainment schedule, often with outside performers, and trips out. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and my frequent visits are not a problem. My mother says we made a good choice - so that says it all really.

Mum has been living at Woodlands for just over 18 months, having been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s the whole family is very happy that Mum is in the very best place so that she can live her best life with the challenges she is now facing with her condition.
There are good days and bad days but
the care and kindness Mum receives from the whole Woodlands team is 2nd to none, I would thoroughly recommend Woodlands to anyone who is looking for a care home for their elderly loved ones.

My Mum has been at Woodlands for 2 years now, the care she receives is amazing, and nothing is too much for the staff. We are always kept up to date with what's happening and how she is doing. There is always something to keep her active if she chooses to do so and lots of entertainment for the family
to join in with throughout the year. We couldn't be happier with the care she receives, the staff are all very friendly, welcoming, and so caring. Would definitely recommend this home.

From the day of our initial enquiry at Woodlands the staff have gone out of their way to make both my mum and myself feel welcome. We popped in unannounced to ask for a brochure but were offered an impromptu tour of the home, and fell in love with the place.
Mum moved in on a trial basis to see how
she felt, but loved it so much that she decided to stay permanently. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. They are kind, supportive and caring, and treat each resident with dignity and respect. During my visits to Mum the staff have gone out of their way to make me feel at home too.
Everything is taken care of so there is nothing for Mum to worry about. Mum has changed since moving to Woodlands, it’s as if a great weight has been lifted from her, she’s so much more relaxed than she was before she moved in. Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff, it means the world to me and my brother to know that Mum is safe and happy.

I was a respite resident at Woodlands care home after a stay in hospital. I had a good experience, the food was good, the staff were very good and tentative to my care needs. The team supported me in my rehab to get back to being independent and able to return home.

My mother has been a resident at Woodlands since January 2018! I live nearby and have the opportunity to pop in at any time to see her and have to say I have always been more than happy with the care and love that all the staff show her. There is a lovely "family" atmosphere in the lounge, but also
many quiet and cosy areas for visits. The premises are so clean and fresh, and the gardens an absolute delight.

Staff are efficient and friendly and the food is varied. The facilities are cosy and comfortable. Food is varied and high quality. I am now a permanent resident and am glad that I chose Woodlands to be my final home the residents are varied and interesting.

Since my mother moved into Woodlands earlier this year, I have been aware of how helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and caring the staff are. The staff are caring, and happy and all have a great sense of humour. We are so glad we, and mum chose Woodlands as a permanent home for her. It was highly recommended

My mother-in-law has only been at Woodlands since March 2023 but absolutely loves it.
We had visited a number of homes, but none were as warm and welcoming - the staff are amazing, lots of activities, we take in take-a-ways and eat with Mum, nothing is too much trouble for them.
We are so happy that
Mum is happy there; it gives the family peace of mind that she is well looked after and safe, with care 24 hours a day.

Woodlands Residential Care Home is run by a very professional and caring team of staff. They are friendly, caring and courteous, ensuring that you are comfortable and receive the care you require.
The care home is well-maintained, clean and well-decorated. My room was cleaned to a high standard each
day with towels and flannels etc. also changed daily. A place where I felt extremely comfortable.

My dad was a resident of Woodlands Residential Care Home for a period of respite care. The home is comfortable, spotlessly clean and very friendly and welcoming. The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are kind, attentive and caring. My dad really enjoyed his stay and it was so

I am Alison Lee the Proprietor of Woodlands & Hill Brow Ltd. I am a nurse with a degree in Nursing and a Diploma in Elderly Care. I left the NHS where I was Ward Manager of an elderly care unit at the Royal Free Hospital when I assumed control of Woodlands & Hill Brow Ltd following my mother's retirement in 1998.


I am immensely proud of the standards of care we achieve and the family ethos and feel which runs through the heart of our homes.
