Woodlands is a thirty-nine-bedroom residential care home with an excellent reputation in the Fleet community for the consistently high standards of elderly care it achieves. The home was rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC in 2019.

Trained carers provide 24-hour care and support for the residents, helping to support them in their chosen lifestyle choices and care needs. Residents' dignity and independence are respected at all times. There is a full activities and social programme for residents to participate and enjoy.

Outside, the home has large scenic gardens with a sheltered courtyard in the centre and an active gardening club. Elsewhere, there are level lawns, fish ponds and woodland with its own bluebell glade, all accessible by flat wheelchair friendly paths.

The residents are at the heart of the home, helping the chefs chose the menus and creating the activities programmes with the activities coordinator. Woodlands is a happy home, where the residents' happiness and welfare come first.

I cannot fault Woodlands. My mother-in-law has been a resident for nearly 4 years. The care given to her has been excellent. She has gone downhill in the recent weeks and the staff have been wonderful. They have gone out of their way to help us and mom.
Everyone at the Woodlands gets a gold star.

My grandmother was very happy here. She was extremely well looked after and loved all the staff. They all went out of their way to help - nothing was too much trouble. The activities were great and she was not forced to join in if she wasn't up to it.

My granddad loves living at Woodlands, he enjoys daily activities and going out on trips. Woodlands is always clean, tidy and his room is cleaned daily. Granddad loves having a laugh and joke with all the staff.

My nan lives at Woodlands and really enjoys the daily activities that are on each and every day. My nan loves her room and how it is cleaned every day and she thinks the staff are amazing, very friendly and approachable and they look after my nan wonderfully. Woodlands is a fantastic home.

My Mum came to live at Woodlands following a stay in hospital. She was very poorly and we did not expect her to be with us for long. However, the staff at Woodlands are little short of miracle workers and Mum picked up and is now very happy to live there and she has said that she feels she is living
amongst friends and feels safe there. She enjoys a little harmless banter with the staff who are all so kind and caring and Mum is allowed to feel she is being useful by undertaking little jobs to help out. She enjoys occasional trips out in the minibus and other activities in the home. It is such a comfort for our family to know that Mum is living in such a caring, safe environment. I cannot recommend Woodlands highly enough.

I find all the staff to be very caring and friendly. Family and friends are always made to feel very welcome. I am always kept informed of any medical issues concerning my father and he is seen by a doctor on a regular basis. The rooms are light and airy and always kept clean, and personal laundry is

My father, who has dementia, came to Woodlands just over a year ago and it has been a huge relief to his family that he quickly settled in and is extremely happy. The staff are amazing, always ready to help with a smile and interact with the residents all the time. I always get a cheery welcome whenever
I visit Dad and kept up to date with his care and any health issues. We are extremely satisfied with Woodlands and would recommend it to friends needing help with a relative every time!

I cannot speak highly enough about Woodlands. The staff are so kind, caring and patient with all the residents. Joan has a lovely garden room and en-suite, which is always clean and tidy. She has three full meals a day, with great choice and variety. The medical care is excellent too. I would definitely
recommend Woodlands.

The staff show great patience and sensitivity when dealing with residents, some of whom can be abusive and occasionally violent towards them; despite this, the staff are friendly and helpful. I have nothing but praise for them. The rooms are ample size and the en-suite means residents have only a few
steps to go to the toilet. The standard far exceeds other 'homes' that I inspected before choosing Woodlands.

I left the NHS where I was Ward Manager of an elderly care unit at the Royal Free Hospital when I assumed control of Woodlands & Hill Brow Ltd following my mother's retirement in 1998.


I am immensely proud of the standards of care we achieve and the family ethos and feel which runs through the heart of our homes.
