There is an excellent range of activities which is stimulating and regularly reviewed. The staff put a lot of effort into encouraging residents to join in and especially join the trips out. The senior management at Woodlands foster

More respect and patience is required for
More trips out are required to break the residents' week up (at the moment the trips out are only on a Friday)
Rooms need to be cleaned more regularly as when we visit there are often dirty cups and crockery left in rooms. More cleaning i.e vacuuming and dusting required.
The staff do work very hard as they have to cater at all different levels.

Thank you for your review. All the feedback is appreciated. At Woodlands and Hillbrow we actively promote respect and to maintain our residents’ dignity at all times.
A new Head of Housekeeping has just started to ensure Woodlands is clean and spotless at all times!
Our residents are actively involved in the choice of activities and trips. As well as the Friday trip out residents go out with their friends and families and in some cases independently.

My name is Doug, I am the facilities manager for the Woodlands and Hill Brow Group. I am a qualified electrician and have been in the building industry for nearly 40 years. I was introduced to the team at Woodlands and Hill Brow Ltd when I was involved in the building of Hill House nursing home and then when I designed the electrical systems at Farnham Mill. I take pride in my maintenance team and in providing a safe, well maintained, attractive place for the residents and staff alike to live and work.
