Brookvale House is a 35-bed care home registered for persons who do not require nursing care. 22 rooms have a WC ensuite, with the remaining 13 rooms having a sink in the room. Each bedroom has individually controlled heating and access to television points.

The home has benefited from the creation of additional lounge areas that allow residents to spend time in a variety of social and quiet areas. It also allows areas of privacy outside of a resident’s bedroom where they can have a nice quiet conversation over tea with their visitors. Furthermore, Brookvale House has bespoke facilities spanning over two floors, and a beautiful garden for relaxation.

I am very happy with the wonderful care my husband received. He is happy & contented therefore so am I. Apart from the care aspect there have been numerous activities in which both residents & family members are encouraged to participate, which we thoroughly enjoy. The pumpkin carving & Halloween party
were a great success as was the pantamime & Christmas party and raffle. There was also a celebration of New Year. Congratulations to all the staff. Thank you.

My nan has been at Brookvale House almost a year now. I am so much happier now that she is here. I know that she is well looked after at all times. There are always plenty of staff on shift and they are all knowledgeable around my nan's needs. She is really happy here and is always telling me that she
hopes she can stay here.

The care in this home is phenomenally excellent. I visit daily and have a good feel for day-to-day activity in the home.
Christmas 2024 was delightfully catered - many Christmas trees/decorations, singing, panto etc. and delicious food/delicacies.
The staff are competent, caring, patient and smiley.
My husband is contented.

Dad has settled into the home with help from the kind staff.
The home itself has a cosy atmosphere, "a home from home".
When I visit Dad, the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They are always ready to help and are so kind.

I visited my dad on Wednesday and he is being well cared for by all the staff. He has not been in the care home very long and he is still getting used to it. I like the fact that the the residents all sit down together for lunch it is very homely.

Would like to say that Brookvale House is a lovely place. It is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very helpful, very friendly and very professional. You can ask them anything and nothing seems to be any bother. There is always some activity going on and everyone is just happy. It gave us (family)
peace of mind knowing that when we leave after visiting, my mum is in a happy, safe place.

A very clean, tidy place. When you walk through the door, you get the feeling of calmness, and very welcoming. The staff are very polite and very good at what they do. There is always plenty of activities and entertainment going on.
