My mother who was 102 resided at Lime Tree Manor for a few months prior to her passing in August. She was well cared for in a clean, friendly, welcoming environment. All members of staff were so caring and treated my mother with respect and kindness. As a family, we couldn’t have asked more of the staff
who went above and beyond their duties to care for our mum. Nothing was too much trouble and they were also very supportive of us and our needs.
Lime Tree Manor provided all that we were looking for in a care home. The rooms are all clean and bright, there is also a lovely garden where the residents can sit outside with visitors. The entertainment team do a fantastic job providing activities for the residents and is always cheerful. The security in and out of the building is good as well as on each floor so we were always confident that Mum was safe. When she was able to she enjoyed the fresh food that was served along with the tea and biscuits that were provided in between meals.

My independent mother aged 102 became a resident of Lime Tree Manor Care home from the middle of May to the middle of August 2023. Our family had been supporting her at home for some time but eventually, it was clear that this could not continue. So we found ourselves looking for the right residential
care home to meet her needs. We struck lucky on the second call and I spoke to one staff member who invited us in to get a feel of the place and to take a look at the rooms. Our visit gave us the confidence that Lime Tree Manor was the right place for Mum.
Mum struck up a very close relationship with her carers, especially three carers in particular (night staff). I cannot praise enough, the quality of the care she was given. The staff are well trained, extremely empathetic and made sure she was clean and comfortable. Our mother was declining fast and we knew she did not have long to live. We were fully informed of her care plan and GP reports. She passed with dignity in the best place for her.

I simply can't praise this home highly enough. My father has recently become a resident. The staff have gone above and beyond to assist in settling him, both the days leading up to him moving, and in getting to know about him, making him feel welcome, safe, understood, and very important to us, all
the family too so we always feel welcome and none of us a bother during what can be an incredibly stressful time!


There's always a smile, laugh and moment of time shared from every member of staff, care is taken to invite residents to take part in activities, I've even joined in with some with "Dad and his new friends" and had a great time doing so!


There's always someone to listen if we need to update them about anything no matter how big or small, there's kindness and attention taken to every small detail. You're all doing a fabulous job, and it's very much appreciated by me and my family in taking care of someone so very important to us. Thank you.

My father has been at Lime Tree for nearly 18 months, and my mother recently moved in too. We are so grateful that we were able to keep them both together, and the staff have been really helpful. Both of my parents have dementia at different stages, but they are both happy with the care, the food and
their rooms. The home is always clean, bright and airy, and the staff are kind.

My mother was a resident at Lime Tree Manor for circa 9 years since losing most of her sight and being unable to cope without full time care. Sadly she passed away earlier this month at age 98 and I wanted to give credit to the Home for all the kind care and attention the staff have provided to my mother

My mother went into Lime Tree Manor for respite care, after a month she was offered to go home for full-time care but said she preferred living at Lime Tree Manor as she felt safe and extremely well cared for. She enjoyed her days having help dressing, choosing from the menu and the entertainment.
After
two years her husband joined her and the staff made sure they spent their days, evenings and meals together.
The staff at Lime Tree Manor were never intrusive, always polite and made sure my parents had all their needs. If medical attention was needed it was acted on promptly.
When my mother got too poorly and needed to be in bed 24 hours every day the staff were always there to chat while caring for her. She was always kept clean in every way and they would sit with her for as long as it took to help her with eating and fluid intake.
Myself and my family always felt Lime Tree Manor had a wonderful homely atmosphere.

Firstly, I would like to place in context this review which is for my sister. Although it is also relevant to my parents.
My father became a resident of Lime Tree Manor in 2015, followed closely by my mother.
Both enjoyed the entertainment.
Both were kept to the highest standards of cleanliness,
both body and dress.
My father and mother formed a very close relationship with the staff at all levels, to the point a senior member of staff attended his funeral on his passing.
My mother stayed in the manor for nearly six years, she enjoyed her stay. Sadly, she has now passed and I know the staff will miss her.
My sister and her husband played an active role in the visiting of both parents several times a week.
Sadly, my sister was found to have cancer. After a stay in hospital and care in a local hospice, she moved to Lime Tree where she died. She was very well looked after in the last days of her life by caring nurses and staff that had now become friends.

Very professionally run care home providing a very high standard of care for my mother. She had her own personal carer who was very caring and patient and always attended to her every need. Food and hygiene was exceptionally good and would have no hesitation in recommending Lime Tree Manor to others.

Since moving into Lime Tree Manor Care Home my mum has received great care, my mum was a fall risk and had been in hospital on a regular basis for the eighteen months leading up to her moving to Lime Tree. Now we have no worries or concerns when our visit is over as we know that when we leave she is
being cared for by professional and caring staff.

Since my elderly mum has lived at Lime Tree Nursing Home, she has always been cared for with kind and professional care, even though I know that my mum is not the easiest elderly person to deal with. The staff have a lovely understanding of her little ways, and although she is bedridden, they respect
her the way she is with care and compassion; they are a credit to Lime Tree.


Thank you to the staff who I have got to know over the last 12 months since my mum has lived at this lovely care home.

A very caring home. Very flexible, exercises discretion, does not enforce contracts. The management want to do everything to care for the resident. There are no contracts to sign until the user is happy with the setting. Costs are very reasonable.

My mother was in Lime Tree Manor for nearly 2 years. Throughout her whole time there she was very happy. She was always saying how lovely all the girls were and that the food was really nice. I have visited at all different times of the day and early evening and never found anything to complain about.
I would thoroughly recommend this care home to anyone.

Lime Tree Manor is a fantastic place. No need to worry about the care and empathy of all the staff. It is not easy to relinquish the care of a loved one especially as you hear so many horror stories of care homes. I know my loved one is in a safe and caring environment.


I have experience of both

the care unit and the dementia unit. Both units have the most caring staff you could want. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very approachable. All the residence are smartly dressed and their dignity is paramount.


The team working in the dementia unit really understand individual needs and work hard to engage everyone. Taking time to talk about their lives and what interests they have.


I cannot thank all the staff enough for giving me the peace of mind I now have.
