My dad has been here since May 2016. We were all nervous at how he'd settle in but the staff are all friendly and work hard to create a family atmosphere. The gardens are wonderful and there are regular events, the most recent being a Chinese New Year celebration with lovely food and lots of families
attending. I cannot find anything I would want to change.

Staff are very kind and helpful and meet all my husband's nursing care. It's a very happy atmosphere and choice of food is excellent. We enjoyed a valentine's party recently and they have many social activities. We are looking forward to some good weather so BBQ's can take place as they have a lovely
garden.

The care given is exemplary. The home is run very well. It's clean and well stocked. The nurses and carers really do care and go that extra mile. My mother is safe and very well looked after. The food is first class.

My mother spent eight years in Cooperscroft. During this time, she was given loving care and attention by devoted staff and made to feel Cooperscroft was her home. She was overheard talking to a social worker that she considered herself very lucky to be in Cooperscroft and she knew that lots of elderly
people were not as fortunate as she was to be in such a caring environment. Not only she but we were always made welcome and encouraged to join in with many of the events and activities. Had she not been in Cooperscroft, I don't think she would have reached her 99th year.

Cooperscroft, in my opinion, is outstanding. The carers and management right down to the chef and laundry lady are outstanding. Everybody is very approachable and very helpful, you only have to ask and it's done. I always recommend Cooperscroft to my clients.

Cooperscroft is a gem!!! My brother found this wonderful home for my 95 year old mother who is looked after on a daily basis by the most caring, thoughtful and happy staff. I live in the US and being so far away I need to know that my mother experiences the same care as she would receive from her
own children. There is no doubt in my mind that we could do no more for her than the wonderful people who take care of her every day. We truly give thanks that we found Cooperscroft and its very special staff, who go above and beyond to make each and every resident's day a happy one.

This is a very modern and extremely comfortable care home staffed by wonderfully caring staff. My mother aged 95 has been a resident for just over a year and my siblings and I are delighted with the way in which my mother is cared for in such a caring and loving environment. It gives us enormous comfort
to know she is safe and comfortable surrounded by dedicated staff. She and we count ourselves as being extremely fortunate and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cooperscroft to anyone who is thinking about a care home for a loved one.

Nice place, stunning gardens, attentive staff, and close to (my) home. Given that no one wants to end their years in an old peoples home, this is about as perfect as you can get.

Resident was very upset about leaving her home but knew it was for the best at 96 years. Cooperscroft staff were caring, friendly, helpful and made the move for the resident on the day very smooth. She loves the place.

Had a lovely 'newsy' chat with my dad last night and he was full of stories about the dog show and the sports day at the weekend. Please pass on our thanks to the team who dad said worked really hard to make the events a success and hugely enjoyable to all. Lovely to have my dad back to being like his
old self and full of chat. I meant to say at the relatives' meeting what a great calendar of events the team puts together, so wanted to make up for that by sending this. Thank you.

On my first visit I found the home friendly, helpful and the first impression, bright and spotlessly clean. The lady who gave me the introduction, was helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. I left the home feeling very confident that my friend would be well looked after. Any visits following
the staff were helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

Excellent facility. Like a luxury hotel. Varied activities. Lovely location. Staff seem to be great. They took very good care of my nan after she was left disabled by a stroke. They then took equally good care of her when she was dying from a heart condition, and even though she was already close
to the end they let her come back to the care home to die instead of dying in a horrible hospital ward.

The quality and kindness of the care at Cooperscourt is insurpassable! The carers work is amazing and their kindness incredible. This is a care home and the importance of that word care is carried out impeccably. We cannot praise them more highly in the often stressful and difficult work they do.

Dinesh

Dinesh Francis

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2018

I completed my bachelor's degree in nursing in India in 2008 and worked as a Pediatric nurse from 2008-2010. In 2010 I came to the UK and started my master's in advanced nursing whilst studying I worked as a unit leader in a care home. In 2011 I was promoted to a Care Coordinator and then in 2014, I was again promoted to deputy manager.


In 2022 I was then promoted to Home Manager. I am extremely passionate about care and looking after our elderly residents so getting the opportunity to support and guide Cooperscrof on their journey to outstanding is a privilege.


Hazel

Hazel Nkosi

Job Title: Care Service Manager

Joined: 2022

I graduated in 10994 from South Africa with Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery and Community and Phychatiey. I then worked as a midwife and community nurse up until 2002 before moving to the UK. I have worked as a Care Service Manager, Senior Nurse and Clinical Nurse across other care homes and in February 2022 I joined Cooperscroft as the Care Services Manager. The role is very rewarding and I learn something new every day to make sure our resident’s care reaches the highest standards.

Dawn Cawley

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Joined: 2013

I bring 23 years of experience in the care sector, starting my journey as a care assistant and advancing through positions such as Team Leader, Admin Assistant, and currently, Business Development Manager.


For the past 12 years, I have been an integral part of Cooperscroft Care Home, gaining deep insights across various departments. This extensive experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of what makes Cooperscroft an exceptional home. I am deeply passionate about ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care, a commitment that resonates throughout our dedicated team.


In my role, I actively engage with the community, participating in various local groups and hosting impactful events at our home.


Kathlyn

Kathlyn Raguro

Job Title: Hotel Service Manager

Joined: 2024

I am Kathlyn Raguro, holding a double degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the Philippines. My 10-year journey has been marked by a series of elevations through the levels of ultra-luxury hotels, including the esteemed Shangri-la Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, One and Only Hotels and Resorts by Kerzner, and recently - Qasr al Sarab Luxury Desert Resort by Anantara.


Starting as a Guest Relations Officer, I swiftly ascended to supervisory roles, eventually becoming an Assistant Guest Relations Manager, and most recently, a Guest Experience Manager at Anantara Luxury Resort. I have always held integrity and passion as my guiding principles. These values have been the cornerstone of my success and personal growth within the industry.


As I step into the role of Hotel Services Manager at CoopersCroft, I am eager to lead our team towards unparalleled success, ensuring that the exemplary service CoopersCroft is renowned for is not just maintained, but elevated to new heights. With a shared vision of excellence and commitment, I am very much excited to embark on this new journey with my team


Oshi

Oshi Dissanayake

Job Title: Finance and HR Manager

Joined: 2023

I completed my HND in Business Management in the UK. Also, I have completed a Software engineering Diploma and Finance & Business Administration Diploma in Sri Lanka.


I have worked across a number of industries in various roles. I started my carrier as a Business Development Manager at one of the Prestigious multinational companies in Sri Lanka.


Since I moved to the UK I have worked as a Team Leader and as an IT consultant for Thames Water PLC.


I joined Cooperscroft as an Admin Assistant and then was promoted to HR & Finance Manager.


It’s a completely new venture for me and I do learn the real values of Truth, Love, and Compassion each day at work.
