Mother is finding it difficult to settle into the care home environment. The staff are all very kind and supportive towards her and are doing their best to help her settle.

This place is brilliant as are all the staff. They show compassion, care and all at a superb standard. All the carers are excellent.
They always contact us if there are any problems with Dad. They are happy to discuss Dad's needs and care requirements.

I am happy knowing that my aunt is being cared for in nice surroundings, and conveniently enough for me to visit her. The staff are wonderful and very caring. There are a few issues with washing - residents sometimes wear clothes which are not their own.
Overall, I'm satisfied that my aunt is safe
and well.

My mum stayed at Halcyon Days after respite. I was very apprehensive at first but my mum settled very well. She always seemed happy and relaxed. The staff soon realised my mum's trigger points and very quickly adapted to her ways. My mum's allowed to be herself and continues to do what makes her happy
but she is kept safe. The food smells lovely and what I have seen, looks lovely. The entertainment is amazing. Everyone seems so friendly and I cannot wait till all restrictions are over, so we can sit in the home at times. I cannot praise this home enough. I definitely feel so much more relaxed and at ease with my mum being looked after there. All my concerns have definitely been put out of my mind. My mum is happy and safe

My husband was admitted on the 1st April 2020 after two weeks of respite care. In the difficult lockdown year he has been well looked after, especially after two sessions in the hospital. He was nursed back to health at Halcyon Days and I had repeated reassurances that he would recover. I would love
to see his room and hope to do so in the near future. I am grateful for the kindness of all the staff.

I'm more than happy with my mum's placement at Halcyon Days and would not hesitate to recommend the home to others. My mum is well cared for and the staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. As the family of a resident, it gives us such peace of mind to be happy with the home thank you. Due to the pandemic,

This is difficult to answer as my brother I feel needs to be with people who are more on his care level, people he could talk to or work in the garden - go for a walk with. I believe he is too able for some of the residents and he gets frustrated.

Dad was referred for respite care, at first I was apprehensive but once seeing the home and realising that a member of staff here was someone that I have previously worked alongside in the past, it instantly put any fears to rest. He always says that the food is lovely and he feels safe and well cared
for.

There is a general good feel with all aspects of the home. As mum prefers to stay in her room, she is happy with it and the support she gets from the staff. Food quantity is excellent, sometimes quality and choice drops. In these difficult times, I can't complain on how she is looked after and her overall
